I love that NCT and Red Velvet are the groups that SM seems to take more musical risks with. NCT does shit like Simon Says, Fire Truck, Cherry Bomb, and now Superhuman.
That's why their concert was so awesome. Went to the ATL one and my calves burned the next day from jumping so much in the GA. I get that they won't be for everyone with every comeback, but each one has nailed it with me. And it's never the same.

I agree, except Superhuman isn't a risk though. They have done this kind of choreos and songs with Shinee so many times, and Lucky One by Exo (that was originally meant for Shinee as well) are all very similar. You can feel the same vibes in this song and choreo and it's no wonder: same guys wrote this song than those others. This is really the full package of "typical" SM hit material, but they outdid themselves with Superhuman for sure!
I am kind of sad that Shinee did not get to do this song because this is right up their alley (at least it was when there were still five of them), but I'm glad this song was made nonetheless and I have to give credit for NCT KILLING IT (just like all the other songs they've made that I have heard, it is not a given even in SM ent groups)!

You know what sucks? Becoming a fan of kpop within the past few weeks and knowing I miss out on so many kpop concerts like 4 months ago.
I wish I could rewind time too. That concert was amazing but I truly didn't appreciate the genius of this song hearing it live until now when the MV dropped. It's like wow. The best song by a boy group in recent years to me and my personal taste. It embodies everything that makes SM male groups amazing. 10/10 easy.
