I grew up without parents and my grandparents adopted me. I fell in love with wow at about 7 or 8 and it took me all of BC to level to 69 and then WOTLK was released. I hit 80 and told my grandpa how excited I was, it had taken years of what free time i had to get to that point. I woke up the next day and I had a note sitting on my keyboard It said "level 80 is awesome and so are you" I will never forget that.
As a 20 year veteran of playing this game, seeing younger generations come in and have fun is amazing. It also shows me that you never know who you might be grouped up with...and sometimes patience and understanding and explaining is the best way to make the game better for everyone, ESPECIALLY in the long run. Imagine if we all just took a moment to help new players instead of raging at them... the impact in 5 years if we all had this mentality would be HUGE.
Youre a legend dad, my boys soon to be 15/17 , i had them on the mouse/keyboard from ages 6 or 7 and on the games, so many good times, they'll remember it for ever !!
I grew up playing WoW with my dad way back in vanilla. While my dad isn’t in my life anymore, the memories I have of us running around and questing together, spending hours running back to our bodies after getting ganked (we played on a PvP realm), and the sheer joy of accomplishing our first raid brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with your kids. They’ll remember this forever. ❤
Your son taking the tanking role and then not have his confidence knocked on wipes speaks worlds to how supporting you must be as a dad. Looking forward to more adventures from you guys.
One of the great lessons I think gaming can impart is that failure is a part of the process that results in success. Thanks for your encouraging comment!
Amazing dad 🤍 Answering all their questions and taking time to explain things, I'm even learning stuff lol I love how you all handle wiping and just laughing it off then taking it down the next pull, also! Congratulations Anetty for reaching level 80! 🎉 Such a cool family activity. I need to convince my brother to try wow so my niece and nephew might pester him to let them try too hahaha
Having children gives a ton of opportunity to develop patience! 🤣 The “why?” and constant questions stages have definitely given me more patience points than I spawned with!
This is exactly what I dream of for my future family! 💖 Watching you all hit level 80 together is so heartwarming. Congrats on the milestone, and thank you for sharing such an epic family moment! Looking forward to your new videos 😊
This brings back good memories when my husband and 2 boys played wow every Saturday we ordered pizza and raided with our guild. Fun times! Congrats making 80 on hunter Anetty! 🥰
Just beautiful to see. Your fun that started 20 years ago is now relived with your children. Their first experience with this game is just as amazing as ours was all those days ago. I really wish I could do some M+ runs with you. Sadly I don’t think we can play across regions.
Thanks! Maybe we'll get cross region grouping and global release sometime in the next decade... Sad that we have to pay for multiple accounts if we want to play cross region. :-(
This expansion is pretty solid if a former player wanted to dip their toe back in the water! 😉 Even if not in Azeroth, I hope you continue to make good memories with your Dad!
I love that you already introduced them to keybinds! And I love that they do it so well! Its so wholesome seeing you three play. Gz u three, beautiful family
This is such basic content that normally nobody would be very interested in... but as a step-dad, I absolutely love watching you play WoW with your kids! They are so smart and know so much about the game for their age! Big props to you man. Please keep uploading.
I’m kind of astonished at the response it’s gotten, but so thankful it seems to be encouraging people! Awesome that you’re a step-dad! My wife’s dad left when she was very young and she was fortunate to get a good step-dad. All the best to you!
If Anetty wants just one ability to target a new enemy instead of all of them when using Action Targeting, you can add this to a macro for a single ability: #showtooltip /cast spellname /targetenemy [noexists][dead][noharm] You need to hit it twice to start attacking, where action targeting will attack on the first press. Harder to accidentally attack with the macro.
@@WoWFamilyTime Should work just fine. It still casts the exact same spell/ability, just with a little extra help for targeting. The only thing I know doesn't work with macros is holding the key down to cast it multiple times if you have that enabled. But that option seems to be hit or miss at the best of times.
Hi, main healer here . if you keybind both of their character to your mouse buttons it become alot easier healing without having to move ur mouse to mouseover to heal. Love the family content.
Thanks! So, something like /tar partymember1 and so on? I haven't messed around a ton with macro's and the majority of my healing was with clique in TBC till Dragonflight.
@@WoWFamilyTime its not macro, just go to targeting and keybind player 1, 2 and 3 . that way u r 1 button away from targeting the player to want to heal and alot quicker. specially the 2 major players and one also for the tank , i mainly focus on the tank since he is taking the agro and if he survives the rest of the group survive lol. you can also use shift+any mouse button to target any extra players after keybinding.
Love this, play together stay together. Myself, hubby, and my 2 boys all played. I now play alone these days . And I also play a green ugly goblin 😢 lol
@@WoWFamilyTime My Nephew Paxton was a Rogue, all he wanted to do was PVP. My other nephew was a Hunter. My niece, also a hunter because they got pets. lol
I record with OBS locally on each PC, then send the files from the other computers to mine for editing in Premier Pro. There might be an easier way to do this with Zoom or something that automatically switches between participants when speaking, but I enjoy editing. Love to chat about gear and process if you have any other questions!
@WoWFamilyTime my son is 8 years old and he plays a panda, I set him up with a GSE macro so he can hold down one button and can still do open world stuff with me 😂
I find it funny that even young children quickly recognise the "bad" and "boring" dungeons that the wider community have been complaining about for decades hahaha. No matter who you are, or where you come from, Strath Undead and Deadmines are your worst nightmare when they pop up in a queue LOL
Her reaction to 80! Love this! I wish my kids would play with me. I’m still hoping my daughter will pick it up. She says it’s too hard right now. What’s that app you use to help with rotation?
The rotation helper is Hekili Priority helper. FWIW my daughter was completely uninterested in WoW till fairly recently. Finding something else you can play together is a blast and just might develop skills that make WoW accessible later!
Awh. 😢 My wife and I are praying that God would bring someone good into your life to fill that role. A verse that has been comforting to me at times is Psalm 68:6 "God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy." Not trying to preach at you or anything, just want you to know that tonight as my wife and I are praying for our children we'll be praying for you too.
They try classic ? , IMO is a better MMO . Greetings from Peru . My dad also shows wow back in 2013 , i was 7 yo and still remember dad char(warrior fury) and mine ( blood elf paladin tank ) , those were unforgetable moments 😊
If u asked , i played classic versions in covid periods 😅, i really enjoy it , and waiting for some new fresh servers or something new realated to those verions 😅
They’d tried it with me a bit and we started some classic hardcore toons we’re making a video series with! Thanks for sharing the memories of playing with your dad. ❤️
My first character was Netimerin, and is considered my name and therefore my nickname for 18 years in WoW is 'Neti'.... this video messed with my head a little :D
She played some Classic with me back during lockdowns, she won't even try retail. She's due again in December and camera shy, but we're gonna try to get her to join us with something one day!
With my son it was more a question of how to get him LESS interested in WoW. 🤣 Since they’ve arrived in our family I’ve played Wow on and off since 2019. My son has pretty much always wanted to play, and once he got to the point where he could read most quest text and tooltips we’ve allowed to play with his screen time. My daughter was mostly into Stardew Valley and Breath of the Wild. There is a few you can choose from, MaxDPS (which I think this is) and Hekili which is another one of the top ones
I believe its "Hekili Priority Helper" if im not mistaken :)

Idea from a young one, blizz give priests another dps spec!
you can definitely make a cute female goblin...
But they're GREEN! 🤣
I personally am a goblin enjoyer.
tell ur girl bout max range since she is ranged ...about los since she is ranged!
Will do!
hey from new zealand
Why does she have 3 abilities in the middle of her screen and not on her actionbars? 😂
It’s Hekili Priority Helper addon to help learn her damage rotation!

She was mind-controlled by the Jailer or something, right? I skipped most of Shadowlands so the lore is fuzzy for me there.
