I agree its too small for that pool, but you had the settings wrong, the summer(hot) winter(cold) knob needs to be in cold/ winter mode as that turns on ALL the burners the summer/warn only turns on one or two
Thanks for the efforts, you just saved me a lot of time and money because I was thinking about doing the same thing, my pool is about 16 wide by 36 long so I’m not gonna bother. What I have done in the past and what I may end up doing this year again is I have a blowup Coleman hot tub that I keep in the area by the pool and so what I’ve done in the past years when it was really cold in June is I would fill up the hot tub heat the water to 102° and then use a sump pump and pump it out into the pool and drain water at the same time and then put more water in heat it up, etc. that actually works by raising the pool temperature about 8° which is really about all I need right now.
Was your inlet and outlet close together? I think if you had placed them at each end of the pool, it may have worked a little better. Also, placing the solar pool cover over the pool would have helped as well.
I want to do the same but using 110 volts 60 hz electric tankless water heater> I don't want to invest the money on a 220 volts electrician bill because I only have a 24x12 intex pool. But can't find relevant information’s.
I’m struggling to see how the hose fits your submersible pump? Is the submersible hose fitting wider than the heating units fitting?

Great video, would you consider making a part two? Maybe with a stronger pump if you're having troubles with it shutting off after 25 minutes
Maybe a good idea. Thank you.
Should list pump and parts in description
Good idea

That's a great idea.
Can you share a link to the heater and pump you use?
Cool BRO!! 😎👌
Did you find some other heater that’s good for big pool?
This summer I'll try the PVC coils solar . I'll see how that goes.
Are there links to these products?
Do they sell larger portble propane heaters
Not that I have seen.
Nice
Thanks

That may work better than my idea. Yeah I wouldn't do 220V either. Let me know how it works out for you.
You will have a very bad time trying to heat that much water with any 110v system.
Been puzzling about this for the last couple of months. Should be a solution
Yeah still looking for a solution.
Thank u
No problem
way too small heater for that size pool
yes you're right
So basically it was not worth it at all.
Not for a pool this size. My friend Shawn tried it with his circular pool 12"X12" above ground & it worked good for him.
