Jess did not always treat Rory well, but the one thing I can say he does have that Logan doesn't is that his loyalty to Rory was never ever a question. He chose her over any other girl and anyone else in general. It was always her, always. He didnt want anyone else and even after years of them not being together, he got his shit together in hopes of getting her back in the process. It was always rory for jess.

It was painfully obvious this relationship would not last, and while it was cute and all in the sense that every good girl needs a bad boy, Rory needs someone trustworthy, and someone who will care for her the right way. They’re good as friends but it was never meant to be.
