Love seeing these old swings and how fluid the best players were. lifting the front foot went out of style from what i can tell because people thought it created more power. I always thought it was a stability thing until i looked it up after watching this lol. I wonder if it will make more of a comeback since that theory has been proven wrong with it being standard in long drive to lift the foot to create more torsion. Have people done away with teaching keeping the front foot planted now or is that still something every golf instructor teaches?
i think the lifting of the is a natural thing when making a good pivot by turning the hips and shoulders. i've developed a pivot driven swing and find i have to lift the heel to get a good full turn action.
Never seen footage of her swing before, proper old school, 90 Plus % of golfers nowadays would play better golf with a fluid swing like these old school swings, and less chance of injury like bad backs
