Cj came into the right situation. Texans had a young budding roster. The difference between good qb and elite qb is they make the talent around them better. No one knew who Nico Collins was. Insert cj and he turned into a top 3 wr over night. Cj is special and this team is loaded with talent all over.
I seriously don’t know if I have seen a QB with his level of mechanics and footwork in combination with that much mobility and elusiveness. And all that with an absolutely insanely talented arm

As a buckeye, I think we all kinda fell into the "buckeye QBs don't produce in the NFL" narrative. Rightfully so because our QBs have been dreadful in the league (starting QBs, burrow I don't think would be considered a buckeye by the masses) But dang man, I'm so impressed with CJs arch from the Georgia game, to now. It seems like to me football doesnt mean everything to Lawrence and to other young QBs like Byrce Young, Danny Jones, Will Levis, Richardson, Herbert etc.... u can see it in CJ football is all right now, he wants to win, and frankly again as a Jags fan I'm jealous. At the end of the season, they don't ask the superbowl champions if the scores meant anything. A win is a win. Good teams do enough and find a way that no matter how ugly or bad, it might go at points. Being able to win close games might actually be more important than blowing out the other teams.
