Last Tile Fanmade Bossfight [Scrapped Version]

This was originally planned to be released on November last year, but due to technical problems, finishing this bossfight had to be paused until early 2022. Work continued until eventually getting scrapped because the overall design and theme were not up to expectations.
Personally, it still holds up as a bossfight, but it felt over-the-top and was all over the place, leading to the decision to remake it entirely with what you guys have now in current Last Tile!
Regardless, hope you enjoyed what could have been the Last Tile bossfight of 2021! Just wanted to show ya'll this version since I was able to render this version with not much problems

This one, while it does have a better concept for the drop, it just can’t live up to the level of personality and interaction the official one had. It felt like you were actually facing a boss in the official. Not to discount this version. It’s great to see what the original concept(s) for a level were. Can’t wait to see what you have next, man. I prefer the 'official version' this one is less 'active' in the level, it's less of a boss than than a level, and the simple fact that the official version has cups acting as arms give him a cuter and more rythmed appearance, here it reminded me more of chess pawns
