Hy , I Watched you video. it was very informative keep it up.one thing I looking forward , can you please list them up the best website for texture.
Thank you!
:)
Hello I would like to know what website do you recommend to download new materials
great work
Thanks!
Thank you so much! When, if at all, would you use the other maps like gloss etc?
There's a pretty good summary here - help.poliigon.com/en/articles/1712652-what-are-the-different-texture-maps-for
I know how to use them in Vray but Lumion doesn't seem to have an option to add gloss and other maps. Is it that Lumion generates these maps automatically? Thanks!

Hey Justin... your videos have been helping me a lot... I've learned a lot...thank you so much...please upload a video of rendering an Aquarium or a small fish tank.
Interesting - that's a very specific request...
can we made this with the educational license ? please I need an answare?
thanks
There is away in which you can combined normal map and glossy map together in any photo editing software like photoshop and later export the file as 32pit image with alpha channel, this way let you use glossy map in Lumion instead of using normal map only, and I found the auto generated normal map in Lumion is better than Poliigom I don’t know why but guess Lumion like to over exaggerate the maps a little.
Interesting...will have to mess around with the auto-generated maps a bit - thanks!
How to tell which image for normal map, which for color map. Thanks.
Aren't they labeled?
Hi. I have saved texture images, but when I try and load them into lumion they are not visible. I hope someone can help, thanks
What format
@@TheRenderingEssentials Thank you for your reply. I just saw it now. I got my answer , thanks
Hey I was wondering if it's possible to create a custom texture from a picture?
Hi, i saw this video just before. I hope it can help you. ua-cam.com/video/KpYJkB7gAXs/v-deo.html
Go with this - ua-cam.com/video/GItohAbyzCM/v-deo.html
how to download textures from poliigon texture?
You...go to the website, then download them?
can you share your lumion settings?
I use these a lot - ua-cam.com/video/SHZ-ea3wK_Y/v-deo.html
I don't see much the bump effect. Does it really apllies? Moreover, you have a kind of "moiré" pattern in your texture. Might not be an easy task to get rid of that in post... ;)
Which is the best rendering software guys?
That's like asking what the best tool in a toolbox is...it depends on every useage case...
Very nice tutorial, but why my lumion always crash/not responding when I start using the material tools? just material tools, the others are fine ._.
No idea - did you reach out to their support?
@@TheRenderingEssentials not yet, I don't know how to describe my problem, it's weird, i already uninstall it, change the skechup version too, nothing happened
I should watch this before I use Lumion 😩
Probably :)

Your videos are really good and useful, I learned a lot from them. There's just one thing you can do to improve the quality of those:
- repetative use of words with no meaning ("kind of", "real quick", "quick", "actual", "probably", etc.). Just count how many times you repeated those words and realize that sentence would be better without it.
- video could be 3x shorter without excessive talk. Shorter videos are better.
All that being said, great job, I like your videos 👍🏻
I appreciate the comment - I'm always working to get better. That being said, I'm also weighing the cost of making videos perfect as opposed to getting them out the door - I could script every single video and make everything perfect, but then I'd probably only get a video uploaded every two weeks. I'd rather get an imperfect video out there helping people. Thanks
I think you are slow in explaning the process... and also speak alot.
Ok
Not useful and not realistic
Lol - ok then
