I'm a kid,I grew up with samuri,super Megaforce but mostly Dino charge yet unlike most kids my favorite series is mighty Morphin,alien rangers and zeo
At the moment I’m going with Mighty Morphin and Zeo. Turbo wasn’t my favorite but Space was flipping amazing to me. Not TimeForce epic but Space was as good of an ending to be Zordon era that you could ask for.
I would love to collect every Ranger from every era including Villains 🤣
Interesting in the IGN
unboxing from SDCC and promo images we got, show the dragon shield was a proper gold. Also shows a very different gold on the back of the box. This version of the dragon shield here seems to be more of the butterscotch color we got from Bandai, which funny enough was done on the Gold Ranger then. But Hasbro seems to have got the gold color pretty much right on this version.
red ranger and black ranger both used the dragon shield which the green ranger powers were given to jason to keep them out of zedd's hands. it was 2 part episode of mmpr called the green candle.

I bought Lord Zedd, one of the best Hasbro figures ever, and am going to preorder Goldar. My history with this series go back to my toddler days. We use to rent vhs of super sentai that were dubbed in Cambodian. We called them Power Asing Asing. This was before power rangers. I remember that it was super emotional and the stories were kind of dark, even as a kid I was like, “is this meant for kids?” Lol
Great review and backdrop story, this the series I'm collecting. Watched the show every morning when it debuted in '93 the year I got out of the military
Right now I'm just collecting the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, but I have bought a few other Power Rangers like Lord Drakon, Pink Ranger Slayer, Gold Zeo Ranger, Yellow Space Ranger, Red Time Force Ranger, White Dino Thunder Ranger. I'm hoping that Hasbro will release soon the Pink Space Ranger, Phantom Ranger, Blue Senturion, Pink Time Force Ranger, Quantum Ranger and Ninjor.
For the power lance they should do a lance with two male ends so that they get more length and you can still use the two as a shorter set
Tommy gives Jason the dragon shield in the episode Gung Ho to get passed titanus and I think he used it again in the episode green candle pt.2

Great review. I just started collecting mmpr, dc and plan to get a few mk and marvel figures for a multiverse tourney display. My zeo gold ranger comes today. Always thought a cosplay mashing the zeo gold and red rangers with slight features from green like the dragon crest on helmet top would be cool. Always wanted a comic that focused around it in addition to giving the ranger the ability to summon a new powered up Dragonzord, Dinozord and Pyramidus and have them be able to combine in a variety of ways into this Emperor Tyranno Dragon Zord.
I'm probably with you on only wanting to collect the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures and maybe some Zeo Rangers Figures. I only have an attachment to those particular incarnations of the Power Rangers because that's what I remember as a kid. I didn't watch any of the other Power Rangers shows after Zeo. I also liked the movie from 1995 so I'm hoping we get an Ivan Ooze figure down the line. So far I have this set that you just reviewed (SDCC Red & Zeo Ranger), Green Ranger & Puddy Patrol 2-pack, Pink Ranger, Goldar, Lord Zedd, and the White Ranger. I'm looking forward to the rest of the original cast from Mighty Morphin being released as figures. Nice review!

The dragon shield is from a certain episode. I think it’s when they get those blasters. And the black ranger got it in a certain episode too.
Saw that about Black Ranger. Was Red Ranger only one episode too?
@@MCUcollector24 No. At the end of "The Green Candle" when Tommy lost his powers, the only way to keep Rita from getting them was to pass the coin on to Jason. This gave Jason the ability to use the dragon shield and the dragon dagger when needed. He used it multiple times afterward throughout the season until "Return of an Old Friend" where he gave it back to Tommy and restored his powers after Rita had stolen the other coins.

Of course, due to budget, I might have to hold off on some figures initially, but my hope is to collect them all. I’m definitely getting the MMPR cast, and all the Sixth up to Gold (because MMPR for life!). And all the figures announced as of this post, I’m likely going to get (why no cloth cape for Bull Black/Magna Defender, Hasbro?).
I’m still a S.H. Figuarts guy, and hope Tamashii Nations Bandai get off their asses and give us their rendition of the post-MMPR stuff AND the pre-Zyu stuff (where’s my Jetman!?!), but I’m happy to add Hasbro’s line to my collection......hopefully they actually live up to their promise and give us at least ALL the Rangers MMPR and beyond. I totally expect them to skip whatever isn’t adapted in the west (no ToQger 😰😓).

Mirl Z I’m sure they’re going to release most, if not all of these as stand-alone figures. And in the Putty’s case, we might even get something of a multi-figure pack; you know, some special army builder release (see Tamashii Nations/Bandai Japan’s Figuarts Shocker Combatman sets).
Let’s hope anyway....
I’d sell the extra green rangers or just keep them to customize them and make them look like custom green ranger figures.
Mostly getting MMPR and the Extra Rangers with cool Armor like Magna Defender. Really hope Hasbro does Koragg from Mystic Force. Purple and Red versions.

I'm still baffled why Hasbro is sitting on goldar he was originally a wave one figure releasing the same time as the rest of wave 1 then he got pushed to November past wave 2 and before wave 3... WTF hasbro! And if they were going to do a second 2 pack in addition to the Jason's they should've done bulk and skull as a first fully civilian figures! We need Rita and the rest of the castle monsters including scorpina!
Hasbro needs to take their time and spread them out. They know most collectors want any and all of MMPR do they need to stretch to maintain interest in the line.
Agreed but at the same time spacing out almost 3 decades worth of rangers will take forever and now there's no reason not to do monsters sprinkled in every wave like marvel legends and black series! I'd hate to see Hasbro make the same mistake with the legacy line too little only so often while hiking up the prices while the fans are saying "villains" with rangers and civilian forms it's not like they'll run out of characters anytime soon! Marvel legends uses a lot of the same parts for there character figures but the black series doesn't so cost isn't an excuse like Bandai always claimed for their corner cutting and qc issues! I'm also kinda worried for the line as a whole did anyone pay attention to any of the hasbro power rangers booth interviews, it kinda seemed like they got there facts from ranger wiki on the car ride to the con but that could'vebeen a fluke accurance with a couple of people!

@@MCUcollector24 yes the actor's name is Austin st John who played the original red ranger from mighty morphin and as the gold zeo ranger in power rangers zeo.
