Krishna came to me first from "Vimalananda", via Shri Ramakrishna, and then there was the Gita. I had purchased a copy of the Gita (Juan Mascaro translation from Penguin Classics) but had somehow felt I should wait for the right moment to read it, so I had put it in the bookshelf next to my bed. This was August of 2001. It was not until October 2001 that I knew the moment had arrived, when I was contemplating the state of the world post 9-11. I reached for the Gita- and paused. I felt an inner "instruction" to start by reading Chapters 9-11. So that's what I did. When I finished reading them, the tears were streaming down my face, and I could distinctly feel the power of those words, as though they were being addressed to me personally. I experienced the power of the Gita in those few chapters, so perfectly relevant to the moment. To this day, those chapters still have that spiritually uplifting effect, and I am a firm believer in the truth of the Gita. It is the ultimate scripture of all.
He's right. We 'tend' to hold on to our flaws. I'm a huge devotee of Lord Krishna. Currently going through a rough phase, i keep wondering why people are doing wrong to me jinka maine (literally) kuch nahi bagada. And this confusion in the head is nothing but the kurukshetra. Also like he said in another podcast Krishna tests his devotees like no other deity. At the end of this mental kurukshetra is the Gita. That should be worth it.

He is absolutely right what ever he mentioned on the podcast as same experience i am having now. As I am Shiv Shakti and Bhairav Upasak but deity themselves shows u where next to move or if we need to add krishna bhakti along with our ongoing sadhna. So please top judging every now and then and better to have first hand experiences. Concentrate on sadhna and if you people are so gyani then why even you guys giving a heed to all these podcasts.
There is a flaw in this video. Rajarshi Nandy mentions "Bhaagvatam" which is Bhaagvat Puran, but the visual shown is of Bhagvad Gita - both are different texts
I dont know what is exactly happening with me at times with me i have read shloks of bhagwat geeta and the same shlok get's related at the same time to the same situation, sometimes i have certain doubts and it is solved in the next 2 days itself, and i feel someone let me put into such situations so as to clear and answer my doubts.
We can always go to them, pray to them wholeheartedly bt for doing any kind of intense Sadhana or doing japa of any mantra of the Ugr devta/devi make sure to get initiated by the guru first.
What is unconditional love? The deties aren't genie in a lamp, that you rub and fulfil your wishes. Do you ever respect someone who doesn't everything for you on your say? Most people call them doormats. Unconditional love doesn't exist. There are always conditions. There is no free lunch. It is give and take. Which is good, no? You must have pride as well. Do you just want to take take take without doing anything in return?
You definitely can but sadhana is a different concept, its not just praying. Also different deities posses different qualities. Not everyone is for unconditional love.
If you study rocket science without knowing its basics even that seems foolish to you 🤷♂️ So, if you wanna know something learn/know basics first then it doesn't seem foolish to you
Pure devotee of krsna never goes to other demigod with offerings. He respect all other demigods but chant only the holy name of God. Because all other demigod derives power from Supreme lord krsna. When one is showing krsna bhakti and the same spirit going towards tantra like that, he is fooling the people.
I don't want to sound rude. But I've to say that by the days, ranveer's podcasts are getting more unrealistic and like marketing pods for india's culture. It doesn't feel as real as it used to be.
Fear based worship is christinaity and islam, who claim a god to be benevloent yet able to punish its own creation to eternal hell😂 Most christians and muslims worship out of fear of hell.
Then follow ur bhaichara communities guided by evil founders in sky books to do for expanding their faith by manipulating or butchering women, children b4 deir male family members
Fear of what? Breaking a promise you made? Is it unfair for your friend to get upset if you don't keep a promise you initiated? It's completely fine to not make any promises in the first place, so no one will hold you accountable.

So we shouldn’t go for deities if we want unconditional love/ accepting/ blessing? That’s sad.
Who said that??

Fear based worship. How pointless!
If you think accountability to your actions is fear based, then you don't deserve the love of God.
