Blink 182 was a direct "one finger salute" to the "Boy band " craze of early 00's. While I wouldn't say they were a "Punk" band (which I save for Black Flag, Ramones, etc...) Their punk attitude towards the music industry at the time reminds me of what the Early Punk movement was doing to the disco and prog-rock movements of the mid-late 70s. Dude, don't fight, Blink-182 and Green Day are the shit. In fact, Green Day was the first ever Rock band I listened to. Then slowly, I started liking Heavy Metal and so on. Nothing's to be hated in this area of music. Blink-182 lives an this song rocks, and I'm crazy that they're back together!:D
