This issue can be solved by themselves on why required CM and MLA's .you leaders fix one rate per kilometre. Don't mind giving 1rupee extra per kilometre. But pls don't charged rs 3500/= to drop baga from dabolim airport.this makes all this app's etc.. and speed limit to taxi drivers. Most are driving rashly.
madam there are 3 types of permits All India tourist taxi, All Goa Tourist Taxi and Yellow Black and hence there are different government approved rates so one fixed rate is not possible.

Let introduce Ola Uber and put meters on the local taxis. There should be a 10 year residency period to apply for taxi licence and Goan gets priority over all. Only then this problem will be solved. Mumbai has the same. Also new license in Mumbai for taxis there is a mandatory Marathi test.
Goan Taxi drivers should say OK for goamiles app...but they should put certain conditions.....1)ownership of goamiles should be totally goan, 2) goamiles should employ atleast 90% Goans. 3) both govt and taxi drivers decide a standard rate chart per KM charges. 4) 3 months observation period as CM as committed.

Having a badge does not make a taxi drive professional, there is no professional training institution in Goa to train this drivers to a professional n safe driving standard. A rickshaw charges ₹ 180 for just 8 km. How much petrol will rickshaw consume for 8km ? How much ware & tare will be there for a rickshaw ? So GoaMiles should be applied to rickshaws as well.
