Especially since the original guide book sets up he’s not even the one doing this- he’s urged on by the parasitic nature of his own powers and the evil of the minds he’s encountered. According to the original guide, he’s trying to get someone to kill him “as he believes that the parasite within him will disappear [upon his death], allowing him a brief moment of piece.”
None of FOXHOUND were heartless (save for maybe Liquid), that’s why they are the best MGS cast of antagonists of all the games IMO. psycho mantis:oh you like danganronpa too?
Snake:yeah...
Ive been playing this on my PS classic (yes im one of the fools who actually bought one) and when the memory card thing happened i almost fuckin shut the game off. But in this older version he doesnt tamper with the screen of your tv and seem like the console disconnected I assume
PRAISE THE SUN!
When i first played this game as a kid when the controller swich happend it scared the crap out of me
There should be a new version of psycho mantis for people who have a smart home. Start switching off the lights, turning on the radio or speaking through it, etc
That would be illegal lol… hacking
He said that im poor soldier and reckless cuz i save rarely
And my memory is completely clean cuz im on emulator
You probably saved on your emulator not on the actual game save itself that's the only thing that he can read
@@st3ve874 no shit
I played this game on PC, so Mantis couldn't predict my moves. He was pretty easy. You can duck under 90% of his attacks.
What if you use an emulator and you have an Xbox 360 controller for the PC is he able to read that because my controller shakes right after he says he can shake my controller
The player ever press X + X I read of just running into everything XD
When psycho mantis turns off the game to teleport. This game is legendary
*When HIDEO shows up, switch your controller to the other port! OH THAT VIBES*
BRO I LOVE UR VIDS :>
Metal Gear Solid, the best English teacher my generation ever had.
"We're not so different, you and I..."
I never played this game as a kid. Definitely gonna change that now
They remake these games with the Fox engine. Do it Konami do it.
its not possible to konami make a good remake for this game, because, hideo kojima is expelled for the team,no other man can substitute, the original author of the metal gear serie!
@@TheFaberGames why did he got fired?
They remade it already twin snakes and is worse than original. You want a second remake ? Why even remake what's perfectly well made? Why not ask for a new MGS or new great game? Btw wont happen thanks Konami mgs , silent Hill, Castlevania and all other Konami franchises are dead and buried
@@flowrepins6663 RE2 remake was really good, a remake of this game with all those boss fights in a 3rd person view would be amazing, a silent hill remake will be awsome aswell.
Fuck Konami, leave Sony and kojima to it
Psycho mantis is a good guy after all , GO SOLID SNAKE My favorite videogame character
Mantis is kinda kinky huh.. looks like thug from The Merovingian's club.
The fact that this boss can take over your controller and can read your mind up to the point where the game breaks the 4th wall to tell you to switch the controller port to defeat him makes this one of the most unique bosses in all of gaming history.
One thing I live about MGS1 is that every boss in the game was a horrible human being but they all feared Snake for his taste of killing people
Doing this fight without thermal goggles makes it a little better not gonna lie. Kids these days couldnt take a boss like this, theyre more impressed in fortnite. Dying breed we are
This boss fight it's a piece of history. Metal gear solid was a masterpiece videogame
