What myth is she from?
She is an actual biblical figure. More in Jewish Torah then Christian Old Testament. They were pretty accurate in the show of her story. She was the first woman before Eve that wanted Adam to treat her as his equal and not a subservient.

@@ellinib I like & enjoy the show alot But They DID NOT accurately portray the story of Lilith. Yes, she was demonized and cast out of the garden for not bowing down to the original patriarchy ie God and Adam and also for daring to speak gods real name that knowone was supposed to know let alone dare Speak it confidently and powerfully to Him. She Never made a pact of servitude with Lucifer, she was Never a helpless wandering victim and she sure as hell Never bowed down or pledged allegiance to Any man. The whole point of her & her archetype/myth is that she would rather be cast out of paradise to be forever demonized and misunderstood, living in a cave alone by the sea; then be treated as a lesser unequal object for male pleasure. Her myth is of a Strong Defiant Courageous Embodiment of Female Power & Sovereignty in the face of Patriarchy and Unjust Projections & Attack not a story of helpless servitude and allegiance to men, victimhood, & resentment over false promises of queendom under a mans rule. As much as I enjoy and appreciate the show they really changed Who Lilith is, mischaracterized her, and did not do justice to the real power and sovereignty that Lilith embodies and holds. As with many other aspects of this show in order to enjoy it, as a witch myself, I have to take it at face value for what it is: simply a TV show for entertainment purposes only, Not an accurate portrayal of witches or witchcraft. Because if i do start to critically analyze the show, in reality the ways in which CAOS depicts witches and witchcraft are very negative, stereotypical & insulting to real witches. CAOS depicts witches and witchcraft in the ways that Christians have long believed and feared witches and witchcraft to be. ie cannibalism, human sacrifice, devil worship, selling your soul to the devil, evil, immoral etc. And all that is definitely not apart of my craft or practice haha I like many witches worship The Goddess, Goddesses, Women, Nature and The Earth. I don't believe in a Male Christian Patriarchal God or in The Devil or in Hell and have done my history enough to know that Christianity warped the God of Pan and turned him into their character & concept of The Devil. So one could make the argument that because there is such a long history of worldwide witch persecution that is still going on today, already a plethora of stories & media that depicts witches and witchcraft in a negative evil light, and because TV is powerful programming that shapes how society thinks of and views the world; that it's a real bummer that CAOS is yet another piece of media depicting witches as immoral evil killers. So instead, I choose to enjoy it for what it is, not always look too deeply into it and mostly just approach CAOS a offbeat, quirky, visually unique, aesthetically captivating, engrossing TV show. One that bears similarity to how Reefer Madness depicts Pot smoking; insanely inaccurately and fear mongering, yet still enjoyable for what it is.
