I think the reason for one side of the pad of paper being white on Takenokolor is because if you color in marker it's probably going to bleed through to the back and make it hard to use the other side.
The reason Furmation has to be cats is so that it sells. Regular Rome is overdone (pet lovers can never have too much of their beloved animal type) and as you said the game isn’t good enough to sell itself.
The last Gateongames game you showed was Foxy. And it took me a year to finally find a copy at the Spiel in Essen. Thanks for recommending that game. The girls and I love it. So colourful and so quick to play.
Pocket Cats seems like it would make for a great mini-game within a larger, more complex game. Especially if you changed it to have things from outside this part trigger the movements.
Border Collies are the smartest breed. German Shepherds are third smartest. Labs, Golden Retrievers, & Rottweilers are also in the top 10, if memory serves. And this only includes breeds recognized by the AKC.
I've said it before but honestly with this complaint about animals replacing humans in games. As if we all didn't grow up with Disney movies. A BIG MOUSE TALKS AND DRIVES CARS!!!! Who cares? There are so many games with alternate histories, so why can't there be a history in which animals did everything? I think a lot of people would rather play as a cat than as Caligula. There's a lot of problematic history and changing humans to animals is an easy way to keep a game FUN.

Couldn’t said more than what you did
Standard Poodles are some of the most intelligent dogs.
21:00 Sounds like someone tried to make a cute, pet themed version of Blokus.

Takenokolor having levels 2-5 is likely just future proofing the level icons in the event that they design an easier map in a future expansion.
I like Takenokolor because I can play the base sheet with my four year old and the other ones with my six year old :)
11:08 Those are *very* long dice.
Poodles are the second smartest breed of dogs…. Juuuust sayin 😜
So which breed is considered the smartest?
And pigs are actually smarter than dogs 😅

Yeah, but you might argue that Mickey Mouse was made for children. But I get that people enjoy it. I just don't enjoy it being done ALL THE TIME.
The things animals have done to each other for survival is problematic.
Cats also get the zoomies.
Thanks Tom for the review. I hope dog owners wont chase you to much for your comments on certain dogs 😂
