Donerry - Sierra Leone Part 4 - Annie Walsh Thanksgiving Parade 170th Anniversary

Annie Walsh memorial School was the first Girls School in Sub-Saharan Africa and it gives thanks every year with a parade through the streets of Freetown.
This year was the 170th Anniversary and so Cherry wanted to make a special trip just to march. This was the original reason we planned our trip last July and the rest just happened as a consequence.
This is a unique and amazing event and it is definitely worth seeing and experiencing. See Cherry and thousands of Old Girls and current student march for hours and miles.
