@@matthewcb1970 agreed. Cracking fighter was Horace but definitely a Cruiserweight that could easily mix it with heavyweights at this level. Great to hear the late Harry Carpenter and Gary Mason commentating 🥊💥💥🥊
Kilimanjaro was from my neighbourhood of Mbare in Harare. Quite a hero he was. I personally think his problem was that he started boxing a bit late in life. Had he started earlier we would most probably be talking about a world champion.
just came here after seeing an article on how Kilimanjaro nearly fought lennox and tyson 🤣🤣🤣 good job he didnt , iv seen stoned snails carrying lead weights move faster.
Y'all funny, every fight is different. We saw Lennox Lewis getting knocked out by Hasim Rahman and it looked like he didn't know what he was doing. Just because Proud was not good in this fight does not mean he was bad in all his fights. Even the legend Muhammad Ali was beaten by a fighter who only had 7 fights
Kilimanjaro was a good boxer in his area he started late I feel like he would of done better fighting in another weight class since his weight held him down he is one of the best heavyweight boxers from Africa of all time
Sammyboy72, Horace will be 60 in august, he retired from boxing due to a detached retina with an unbeaten record (16-0). Was the reigning British & Commonwealth Champion & a very skilled boxer, sadly did not reach his full potential due to early forced retirement.
yeah .i remember as a boy reading in the papers then a boxer from zambia called mike simwelu denouncing the prowess associated with kilimanjaro.i was a rural boy then.until i saw his post fights i doubted him.surely he is vindicated.he was burley.no boxing brain.no footwork.just a huge body.its surely craziness for people going him a chance against lewis in that stillbirth fight.he was a great boxer by mediocrity standards.i rate highly that harry namibian boxer.a miles ahead in terms of boxing iq.lets shun mediocrity and applaud talent to be the best.
poor show from my hero..Kilimanjaro..the man mountain, wish someone could post some of his better fights like when he beat Adam Mensah who later claimed that Kili had used juju..RIP big man!
A good fighter whose career was sadly ended prematurely due to a detached retina. He was unbeaten and would have given Bruno and Mason good fights in my view.
Boxing was real in those days. I can't understand how british fighers win world titles so easily today, and never cut like they did back then? Young fans today worship them like gods and ignore the past. It says here Horace would have an even chance against, either Dillian, or Delboy? Slight level playing field of course.
Legend! ❤❤ Respect
Yes❤
I followed his career never reached his full potential now a forgotten man except among the true boxing fan
He suffered a detached retina I believe? Shame, he would have made a great cruiserweight.

@@matthewcb1970 Um this guy was the same size as Evander Holyfield when Holyfield became a heavyweight. This guy was a heavyweight.
Rest in peace uncle Kili...
Horace notice what a name from the past
🥊🏓
Horace listening and following advice from Gary constantly.
Notice magnificent

I don't know about that cheif
It's good to see our champion from my country

skysports. me to. the dude has no movement at all. lennox would have finished him.
Ha ha me too. The article was a bit misleading to say the least.
Lol me too.

Sky sports article sent me here
Yup same here, the article I read didn't even have a picture of him, first picture they showed was Lennox, stupid
@@billyredecop9821 I was baffled by that too. had to google image a pic of him.
So happy to finally see some Horace on here. Great to see him box again. RIP Horace.

I know this post is 8 years old , but Horace is very much still alive.
He isn’t dead
It's been 11 years since this comment was made. Horace is very much still with us.
Well done ref, very well done. I was hiding behind the sofa.
So what was the reason the Camera only focused on Horace during breaks?
These white sepremist Jornos.
Notice how Horace climbing all over mountain.
Kili was unfortunate to die early. He was a potential world champion
How! Are you fucking deluded
😂😂😂😂😂
If Horris was taught to use his legs by changing angles constantly, he'd have Big KMJ outta there early.
probably the most natural HW boxer of the Lawless camp. Did not punch hard enough to make real waves like Bruno or Mason
Absolutely
He said 16 wins and 12 knockouts. Yeah he didn't punch hard because you typed so.

I heard a lot of rave reviews about Kilimanjaro n after watching this video I feel like I have been fed lies.He was just average like manyuchi

Fool
Yeah, he must have been better than this to almost get a fight with Lennox Lewis! I'm about to start reading a book on him.
My bad, it's Horace. Apologies.
I'm being an idiot. Because I know he works doors, I've confused the Oyebola shooting in my mind, and pronounced Horace dead! My apologies.
RIP What makes you think he's dead ?

All headshots no bodyshots in the first, on to round 2.
Horace Notice vs David Pearce would have been a classic both roughly the same size
Big KMJ just looking for counters in first round.
Carpenter put his foot in his own mouth while talking to Gary Mason during the round break. 17 stone. Just after 14 mins of vid.
Notice retired undefeated.
Poor show by Kilimanjaro, an antithesis of what the scribes say about him
Im related to Horace Notice
ok
DA AD I am too, my mother Adreen Notice told me recently
I only noticed now
Round 4 must have been a 10-8 score.

Notice would've beat Bruno..shame he had to retire massive loss of talent
"Dudley". Where's Lenny Henry.
both getting tired decent fight though
Didn't take much notice...
Look at all those bleach in the front row control the fighting scene back in da day.
lmao they still do
Those bleach?
Mason. RIP.
15 stone 2lbs. Wow. Is he a heavy or Bantam weight.
The fuck do you mean?!
