It is nice to see that the devs are doing some thing new but SCP-001 "when day breaks" is not like an infection type of SCP you need to be directly in the sun to turn into those flesh monsters hence the name " when day breaks" (regardless this is still pretty cool ngl).
i mean it would make it better if they put like a sunroof in the football pitch to make it easier to get infected

SCP 001 known as "When day breaks" is a Event. In that event the sun will melt people and these people will turn into monsters that will all together in one and get bigger and bigger. Normally these monsters can't get hurt by bullets. They can be killed by Fire,... .
Heading to the Shelter is a Mistake meant to trick players, go to S3 and if possible SCP-002 as theres a long hallway easily defendable with 2-3 MTF
I think once you pass the 002 hallway, you're 90% safe
The infinite staircase blocks any infected from going down.
Just hide somewhere pretty much no one thinks about, like the medical ward patient area
As soon as the Event starts and 001 instances are selected,I just run out the bunker and go to the Padded cells.
i made a mistake i didnt mean 2-3 MTF anyone with a good gun can defend it but make sure you bring friends with you
Now they just can't be killed. dumped 2 scar h mags and the guy was still chasing me full force.
Should be fixed as of March 2024 (February 2024 update, though they also have increased HP now)
I pretty sure they buffed the infected. The bastards take a full mag to drop now! The event occurred in my server and I organized the ci team to go into the facility to fight the infected head on. We didn’t get a single kill. 😂

They do have buffed health I shot a whole round with my Minigun at one and they did not die 💀
Just hide in 002 or O5 council meeting room, they only search bunker. Unless you’re unlucky.

Fun fact: apollyon level threat is when scp can't be contained and if breach is more like the end of the world.
For those who do not know where to hide from Daybreak Lots people will recommend to hide in the Breach shelter but that will not be a good Idea!!! The breach sheltet will just get Swarmed by Red zombies!!!
Best Places to hide from Daybreak:
SCP 087: The stairwall
SCP 002: The Red Living Room or Things that are alive!!!
The Bathrooms: The toilets

On one of these daybreaks I went as CI and allied myself with the foundation and formed a defence line in sector 3
Kinda breaking a rp making a truce.. but ehh

1:Scp:87 stairs open the vault and close it once u get inside they won’t come in…

I did buy the daybreak and the best spot to hide is : SCP 131 chamber and look for a corner right then go up there another one is at scp 999 chamber at scp 1025 chamber and last scp 066 chamber

When daybreak started i recommend to go 002 with a 05
I think there should be different variants of 001-A, like a brute, a carrier and some others
Tbh they need to buff the SCP cause it dies in like 5 shots
Usally player won’t go in group and got supprise attack so they die easily
I think the initial infected are people who don’t leave their spawn

This update is a W one. The problem for me with this update is that the event is just to short. At least have it be 5 or 7 mins and this would be better.

@@IntrusiveLewisFr, they should’ve added 035 before this. I think SCP-001 should be a contained / infection type disease, whenever it gets breached by CI or some sort of CD it gets spreaded around like 008 and the first person to get it spreads it. Don’t even think they should’ve added it, it’s going to get abused WAY too much. Definitely a fun experience for the first time but the rest of the time it’s not fun. You get one or two fun times where infected people actually come into the breach shelter but the rest of the times your just sitting there watching the damn RRT, MTF, AD, O5, and some random five year old cadet on his ipad 4 playing as a SD shooting at nothing. And does anybody REALLY play as ISD? So in conclusion idk, 6.5/10 Update not too happy with it. But hey! that’s just my opinion. First impressions were okay but my last impressions were just horrible. Especially cause if you get infected and go hunting in the breach shelter. Everybody’s hiding in some random scp like 087, 999, 008, 1205 and 002. It’s not even a infection type SCP you should have to be in the sun to get infected but for some reason your flesh gets ripped into pieces by my damn paralysis demon. Nuke was already annoying and time wasting but hey! Waste more of my good ol’ time! Kinda why I stay in custom servers where they dont allow nukes / Daybreaks. I’m mainly in my own custom server playing with my friends spawning 50 nextbots with miniguns and tryna kill them, but ofc my bullets are fucking rubber.

A's in Daybreak has 200 HP because even if I shoot them a several times they don't leap or die once I shoot a thousand times then they leap off they 100% has 200 HP even though in general they have 100 HP
you can easily survive in scp 002 or at like level 55 on scp 87 (staircase)

Yo- I lost my money. I was there when the event was out and I immediately bought it and it didn’t work, I was so disappointed that I lost 2k credits. It was pretty sad, but, who knows, maybe they’ll refund.
