I went through CTCRM in '89 and when we did the drills we used the UBAs. Maybe we did different things, we did 6 submersions finishing with the roll over in the dark 🤷🏻♂️
@@JammyDodger45 yeah same mate built up to a full dark rollover . It was horrendous . Wasn’t comfortable with it but they never gave us air. I know that cos I was like a fish out of water lol
@@ASDonohoe - it was a definite bottle test. I went back and did it about 8yrs later when I was on JADTEU and even though it was the same it was an absolute breeze and a good laugh at times. I guess it's down to the difference in how they treat recruits/trainees versus trained Troops.
Did it in the 70s, can’t remember enjoying it!
Lovely Helen 😍😍
Never had oxygen bottles when i did this in 90s with the RN. Its not pleasant at all but glad i did it.
Yeah we did. I guess no one liked you so you didn't get one.
We didn't get bottles in the dunker it was pure breath holding. Maybe they changed it but early 91 the whole SMAC course wasn't given them.
