Omg I love that book
i’m pretty sure a lot of people’s problem with ai is that it essentially takes human work, feeds it into the system, and then is used to replace human labor. like that was a big issue w/ the writers strike (companies wanting to use ai rather than pay writers). the thing is, ai takes from the work of real people in order to generate accurate responses, so there’s also been issues over ai programs using people’s writing without their consent (for example this one writing bot feeding books and fanfic into their program w/out the authors’ consent). overall i agree with you though… ai is kinda dumb and is nothing without humans. i definitely see more restrictions in the future regarding ai which will make it less of an issue

The Kiss Quotient is literally the best romance book I've read. No better s** scenes, the burn, the characters.. Nothing compares. The third-act break-up was kind of annoying but in the end, the story is great. So happy to see your reaction!!
When I need slow burn, I usually read Chinese webnovels. If you haven't read them, I'd recommend starting with either The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation or Heaven's Official Blessings, which are already traditionally published in English.

The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation was my first webnovel! I read it before the official translation. Now I always have a webnovel going alongside my other books! They feel so heart-warming even when the MCs are in the middle of an apocalyptic world!

a book that I recommend that has a slow burn that I think you’ll like is The Trouble with Kings by Sherwood Smith. the couple doesn’t get together til the very end of the book. hope you enjoy!
You have to read Spark of the Everflame by penn cole. It has the slowest of slow burn. The main characters don't even get together in the first book. It's a 4 book series. Already 3 of them is out. You just have to give it a try.
Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews, they don’t get together till a couple of books in 😂

I don't know if you like contemporary romance, but Mariana Zapata has the longest, slowest slow burn romances. She's not my favorite, but you might like it. PS: Her books are spicy, so be aware of that if you want to pick one of them up.

If you want some good answers then you have to get the GPT-4, the payed version. It's actually crazy how much more superior it is, but they limit you to 20 messages every 3 hours I believe.
