Me too! It was a cover pick. I had no idea it is a 1.5 book in a series. I was so surprised that I liked the story, the characters, the writting style, the romance so much. It sadly doen't mean I will pick up the original series.
I just got off the waitlist for arcane and mystic as well! I literally just finished entreat me by grace Draven and I am sooo sad that I missed getting this edition by a month because I loved that book so much! 😭 it is beautiful I really hope they sell extra copies of it sometime!
You definitely need to finish Fall of the Stars by Monica James because I heard that she’s writing another Viking book! I hope it comes out this year 🥲🖤
I loved Six Scorched Roses, too. Since I also love the tv show The Last Kingdom, and Vikings in general, I am thoroughly intrigued by Monica James’s book, so thanks for that recommendation. In re: Neva Altaj-I have to be honest-I really don’t get what’s up with chronic illnesses in romance books, since there’s nothing even remotely romantic or sexy about illness. I read over 400 books a year, and I’m seeing more and more of it-IJDK.
So I’ve watched several of Giana Darling’s Instagram live shows, and she said the audiobook for Caution to the Wind is coming sometime in January., also, I don’t know when this is coming out, but she said the audiobook for Serpentine Valentine is in development, so I don’t know when it’s coming out, but she said both and then narrators cried, narrating serpentine, Valentine so I’m so excited.
Love your videos! I am new to fantasy so fun to see what you are reading and should I try them. Also do you have the link I think you mentioned Becky, I can’t find that one. I too love Momma Needs to Read Romance, she has so much humor and fun with her videos.
Why do people not like master of crows just because he doesn’t consider her beautiful. Grace Draven is playing with that concept like in Radiance. I love that book and that couple so much 😢 rant over and out 😅
This is 1,000% not directed you. I hear so many say this and try to keep from saying it myself. I’m just wondering if anyone else hears “I can’t wait to read this.” (Usually about a bunch of different books.) But then think, no, they actually can wait because guesstimating 7 out of 10 times the person doesn’t read it right away. So we say we can’t wait and proceed to wait to read. Someone tell me that I’m not the only one who over thought this. 🙈
Thanks for watching! 💕
So jealous of those grace draven special editions!!
Perfect way to wake up on Sunday morning! A new video, cup of coffee and I’m ready to do some book shopping!

I loved Six Scorched Roses

Hi! Will you be doing a refresher video for CC1 and CC2 like you did with fourth wing?? It helped me so much for iron flame! Thanks ❤
I’ll be doing one for House of Sky and Breath! There is already one on my channel for CC1 🥰

I’m definitely going to give it a try in February! 💕 I typically LOVE her books so I’m sure I’m going to end up rating it 4 or 5 stars 😅
