I have lived around 7 miles from the city virtually my whole life and Ocean Village is too posh for most locals 😂 Opposite the entrance to Ocean Village was a pub called The Canute, a very popular hang out for Rock and Metal fans. That's the nearest I ever got. Southampton has changed so much, it was wonderful to 'join' you wandering around. 👋👋👋

Another fun fact. The large red and white building you passed as the Aston Martin drove by, South Western House is where many of the (richer) Titanic passengers stayed before they boarded, at Dock Gate 4, which you also walked past 😊
The cruise ship berthed was the Regal Princess on June 13th 🛳️

1:46:55 Aston Martin has been perfectly crafted using the principle called the Rule of thirds. Window is 1/3 while the door panel is 2/3. When you design something according that, it simply catches eyes.

As a good culture shift come with climate change. I, from the north and with an active metabolism and a sensory issue for shorts, was in Southampton on Nov 24-5 and 9 Dec 2023, bright days with springlike weather in the pre-Christmas period with all the market running. Weather that never used to be possible Nov-Mar in Britain of my 70s-80s childhood, but Dec 9 had a nippy windiness too.
There were loads of folks wearing shorts. Not just one in a day. Not a few one-off sensory issue outriders like is often how you would see me. No. There were many! Still a minority, but steady stream of them everywhere and all through the day. Like just as casually ordinary to do then as in summer. So that for Dec 9 I could even predict it from the earlier memory, and that prediction was right!

You should be allowed to film in the west quay centre and Marlands. i don’t see why not. i would most probably have my Samsung S23 ultra… or the iPhone 15 pro max hidden in my top jacket pocket, out of the way. That’s assuming that i did actually own 1 of these phones, in the 1st place. But very unfortunately……. I’ve never owned a smartphone / mobile; only an iPad Pro. So…..
