I own this in a 5s manual non sport edition and the cars been fantastic, normally after a month or so after buying a car you get remorse, 3 months in and each day I love the car more and more.
That is so great to hear! Subaru’s are amazing, congrats on your new vehicle.
That's crazy because I'm having buyer's remorse with my GS350 F sport. I'm considering this for my work car. Hopefully I'll enjoy the 5speed.
I have a silver manual version. Living in the plains of the US I get snow tires for my cars. By far the best combo I’ve had so far. Hectic streets turn into a fun driving experience and day to day safety and convenience features make this a great vehicle so far since getting into it last May
Awesome to hear! It’s a very safe car that is also fun!
I'm looking to buy a Subaru Impreza and was wondering how your experience has been with this car over the last 5 years, mainly any mechanical issues.
foresters are pretty sweet. You should review an older subie from like the early 2000s
I personally really like the WRX sedans, my friend has a really nice one. I'd love an STi to be reviewed next, but that's probably a long shot! So maybe a WRX? :p
Nice!
I noticed that the sport version has the sport emblem on the back. But the sport-tech doesn't have the sport emblem? Sport tech has leather seats, bigger screen, but no emblem in the back??
That's crazy that thy are priced that high our limited 18 crosstrek was out the around 27 new
Why is it so hard to find a loaded version impreza with a manual trans??????
Id glady pay an extra 5000 for a full loaded limited with all the bells and whistles with a manual trans
I have the same car, same color but the sport trim. I believe you have the sport tech. I love love love my car. It’s the safest car to drive in the world.
We don’t have the Sport Tech trim in the US
I think the DRL’s should be on the headlights and use fog lights. Also, LEDs for low beam headlights instead of halogens for the Impreza Sport.
I agree. That's where the Impreza fails imo, the DRL. Since I've owned this car I've been taking notice of other cars DRL and what I've noticed is that every car that uses LED DRL has "cooler" and more noticeable DRL. Chevy Cruz, Corrola, Civic, BMW, mazda etc. After all, isn't that the point of DRL, to attract attention to you while you're driving? These just aren't noticeable enough. 4 LED on eachside would have been better than 3. A LED strip outlining the headlight would have been ideal. The problem is you can get this for the Impreza, but it is a $1500 option that seems to come standard on all other cars.
androcles x the point of drl is to make it easier for people in front of you to know you're behind them
Great video review. Recent Sport models of vehicles like this one and the Honda Civic Sport Hatchback have often recently offered cloth manually adjusted sporty seats for the sporty vibe and to keep cost down to balance with the added performance and sport appearance items. Some upper models like the Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback have all the sporty things, plus leather and all the other bells and whistles and options for a much higher price. Not counting the big dealership markups, the Subaru Impreza Sport Hatchback with all the options at about that price is a reasonable price. It may have less horsepower and acceleration that a Honda Civic Sport Hatchback, but has more engine reliability and longevity without the turbo, and offers a lot more features and available options and factory accessories than the Civic Sport. A big factor of me getting this car over the Honda Civic Sport Hatchback is the stereo. The sport cones with the larger screen radio with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, as opposed to the base Honda radio without that and a small non you check screen. The base speakers sound decent, but you have the Harmon Kardon stereo option,or an upgrade Rockford Fosgate processor, amo and so set up, which is my favorite car stereo company, which is an awesome alternative if not getting the HK system. Plus it has a CD player and auxiliary audio input jack, that the Honda does not. Other than the above mentioned, most others things are comparable, albeit that the Impreza Sport has AWD with Torque Vectoring, which is similar to the LSD or limited slip differential only offered in the Honda Civic Si and Type R.
jjacob25101 Great write up! I agree, you cannot go wrong with a Subaru. Thanks for watching.
Nice video! Still think I like the Crosstrek a little bit more. I'm just going to suggest something random because why not? Subaru BRZ
Can you review a VW Golf GTI?
the problem with this car is there's not convenient storage bins for the driver, no place to put passes, cards, hold coins, etc. also, the auto radio on is annoying. this car really should have come with a turbo option or a 2.5i option. looks sporty, handles okay, but isn't sporty at all.
What do you mean, a CD player if your into that kinda stuff?? 😸
Kids these days…
Epic video ....sexy car 🔥🔥🔥
Another crappy subaru with trash for motors.
