When you read the music sheet, it is entirely different. I guess actors are given liberty to act and sing. Mandy's acting and singing are sublime. Just love him.

As a child this was my very first broadway musical. I had no idea that it would be so extraordinary. It has been what 20 years since then, and the performances in this musical, especially Mandys was truly exceptional. In every best way possible. It’s an experience that I have never forgotten and will always carry with me. Thank you so much for posting this.

A few years ago, the Shakespeare theater in Washington DC did a reprisal of the Secret Garden, and daisy Eagan played Martha. She was just as extraordinary as she was as a child. Thank you again so much for sharing.
This is 30 year old footage! I highly recommend buying the original Broadway cast album to hear this with the best quality. Mandy’s voice is truly one of the best. So unique and full of emotion

When I first saw footage of this musical, I had absolutely no idea Mandy played Inigo Montoya. I wasn’t familiar with his other work at all and didn’t recognize him. My mind was absolutely blown when I finally connected the two.
