    Platter looks great but I think a respirator mask is needed.....there is a ton of dust visible in the air after you stop the lathe. Wood dust is terrible for lungs (causes interstitial lung disease and is associated with lung cancer development). Good luck and thanks for sharing.

      Thanks so much. And I agree about the mask. It is something I want to get however, the one I want is very expensive of course I could use an inexpensive one in the meantime, but just haven’t done so yet. Maybe if a company watching my video sells those they’d be willing to send me one out, lol. Either way, thank you for your feedback and I appreciate your comment.

    Hi ..YES THE PLATTER LOOKS GREAT...BUT THERES THAT BUT WORD AGAIN..I HAVE A GOLDEN RULE ...NO MASK AN NO FACE MASK NO LATHE..NOT BEING RUDE OR SO ITS YOUR HEALTH..AN IVE BEEN IN SOME BAD STUFF IN MY TIME....PUT THE RESPIRATOR ON AN KEEP IT ....THE OTHER GENT IS SO RIGHT...DAVID..N.S.W.

      Thanks so much for commenting and being concerned for my health. I do put one one when sanding most of the time now. But I do have lots of videos that were made without one so you will see many more video with no mask in sight.
