I think being a Pet Nanny would be a fun job! Hope it works out for you! I had a Door Dasher that literally was riding his bicycle in the rain & cold back in January. Was staying at a hotel & didn’t have a car to go get food. I felt so guilty that he had to deliver my food on a bike on a cold rainy night that I couldn’t enjoy my cheeseburger. lol He got a great tip! I gave him the 10 I had in my purse. Had already tipped him 10 & went back & changed his tip to 20. He made a $30 tip off a a $20 order.

UA-cam is like a "hire at will" company seriously. They can take your money away anytime they want for no reason. I dont have enough subscribers to be monetized, but I have so many people that are and are going through the same thing. They love to find reasons to cut you off. I had a job as a dealer trade driver. You drive a new car to swap out with another dealer. To bring back. Nothing but driving. It’s on call if you can’t do it you just say no and they will call some other time. I really enjoyed that. Sometimes you drive to a different state.
@@dani_mack It’s called a “dealer trade driver” all new car dealers have them just stop by any dealer and ask if they have any need for more drivers. If I didn’t have an elder parent to look in on I would do it again. Hope that helps

The coffee maker Tracey? Really it is time to evaluate your life choices…😂 We just move my mom yesterday to a place that will provide her with assistance. She had been living alone for the last 19 year after my dad passed away. She went hyperglycemia and lost a few days last week, spent a few days in hospital, and it became clear to us that it was time for her to have help 24/7. Her body was not allowing her to regulate her diabetes and she then would be unaware. None of us children feel that we would be good caregivers, so we are calling upon professionals. I think she will be feeling so much better if she gets 3 meals a day and her medications. Honestly I think the irregular meals messed with her well being more than anything. She also lived in too small of a town to have enough available lifestyle support. Sometimes all the places in town to eat would be closed so the services available to her required her to drive.
I started following content creators during covid. I never did see how anyone could make acliving off of it and to me. as much work as it is, it didn't look like it was worth it. Esoecially with all the channels about van life. I'm glad you are sticking to it though. You are alot of fun. It has occurred to me there are way more ways to do van life than what is on UA-cam. It's funny. I was first interested in Tiny Homes then became interested in van life. I figured if I was hauling it around, I may as well be able to park it in more places! I know how I would design my tiny home if I ever decided to do a stationary one.

People destroy your place they leave whenever they want. Yes, people renting out a room in their house are doing it because they need money, not for charity. I am a real estate appraiser by profession and the only time people accept under market is when they have a longtime tenant that is problem free or unless another relationship such as family ties, etc., exists.
Yes, people are renting out their homes for a reason! Certainly nobody would have a stranger come into their homes for the heck of it!! I used to rent my home out many, many moons ago & they destroyed it! Never again!!!
I've been looking for a new apartment and am astounded at the prices. And about a month ago, I saw a room for rent in a house where you had access to the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. This is in the Chicago market. They were charging $1,200! It ticked me off. They can just sit on that and good luck to them finding someone to pay that. Totally ridiculous.

I agree with you. There are lots of expenses when you own a home not just the mortgage. There's insurance, taxes and repairs as well as upkeep. Why should people expect to get cheap rent?
But why rent a room for what used to be avg cost of an apartment. At some point there is a level of greed. Which to me is what's happening in the housing market. 500-600 is reasonable but even that is highway robbery, but I get that's under the going rate of competitive pricing.
@@JNante you could call it greed but every situation is different ,inflation hits everybody just because I own property doesn't mean my groceries r 1/3 less than they used to be and my PG&e bill has doubled in the past year. Not to mention materials for maintaining a place have went through the roof !! If I rented things for the same price they were 10 years ago I'd be bankrupt. It has a lot to do with the current administration 😔
