  • This week, I’m experimenting again, I call this the process, and although most things turn out as I imagine them to, sometimes there are fails, are yes I will be showing you all of them, but mistakes without fixes wouldn’t be that interesting and I hate wasting material so I always try my best to fix them.
    I’ll be showing you some gorgeous gift ideas I’ve started on for the holidays, for those of you who know epoxy resin well by now, you know it takes at least 21 days for a full cure before using them so with that in mind, I’m starting early.
    Enjoy the process and happy arting !

    First, I took your druzy making course and loved it. I always look forward to your videos, you’re so creative and amazing. And sometimes it IS the tool! I use an led drawing/tracing screen under molds with lips that can trap bubbles. This makes the mold nearly transparent so I can see where the bubbles are hiding. If I have a big fail with trapped bubbles leaving tiny to even large holes, I use UV resin a little at a time, curing it intermittently between layers with a UV flashlight. I’ve been lucky with that technique so far, able to rescue some beautiful pieces. I hope Mrs Colorberry comes to the US soon. I’m so jealous 😂. Love and thanks for your generous and creative videos-from Kings Park, Long Island, NY. 💐💕🗽🏝

    I loved this video. Your work is exquisite, as always, but showing your fails is so encouraging to me. I consider myself an intermediate resin artist and boy, do I get fails among my successes! I’m looking forward to seeing your fixes.

      @EdnaWargon  2 роки тому +1

      Yup, we all get fails, the fix comes next week, I'm sure you'll need the fix before. Working on it now, it'll be out this week 👍💋

    With the dish mould you could use a large syringe 💉 (without needle) to get the resin into the tighter sides.
    Your creations are gorgeous, thank you for teaching me some new tricks.

    Such beautiful pieces, I love them all 😍😍, even the fails!!! I don't have any of the colourberry boxes, will have to try some in the future 😀. Have you tried using Isopropyl alcohol into your moulds? I do it with my moulds and it does stop bubbles forming against the moulds, particularly with the type of mould that you can't get any heat into. I imagine it would work on your chocolate dish quite well 😀.

    • @EdnaWargon

    They are gorgeous thanks for your talents ! I am very new in using resin but I made couple of coaster but they turned yellow after sometimes any advise ? Again thanks for sharing your talents

    • @EdnaWargon
      @EdnaWargon  2 роки тому +1

      Yes i do, unfortunately cheaper resin does that! A good quality anti UV resin is priceless, no yellowing overtime. I never endorse resin that yellows no latter how much they offer me to, its simply the most annoying thing, apart from holes 🤣💖💖💖
