Well that"s kind of what happens when you play on the world for a long period of time. Resources like reeds, walrus, antlion etc. Are spread out and can't be moved. If you're farming them it's more efficient to make a small temp base nearby or build good infrastructure to reach them. Also when you did everything there is to do, you start looking for things to do, projects to complete. And idk what I will do in the future. Not planning on starting a new world at the moment.
Nice world. I used to play in some Klei's server, mostly the catcoon one. All of them lagged real hard after 300+ days, and at least three of them crashed past 500 days and then would just disappear to be resetted to day 1 again. It's very annoying so I just stopped playing for now... Hope Klei found a solution to it when I'm back
Amazing base! 3,000 days is wild.. quick question though, how did you change the direction of the directional sign?? I always thought they could only turn one way (right)
@@JustAPal So changing Tumbleweeds to "more" makes them show up in other biomes? That's really interesting. I haven't messed with those settings very much. I'll check it out! Great video and base by the way. I really enjoyed the tour.
@@donzil2012 It used to before. Now the world gen is different and updated. It only effects the biomes that the thing is in. So it only would add more of them in the dragonfly desert. There probably is a mod for old world gen but i'm not sure.
In general I use a piece of meat or meatballs. I think they are attracted to powdercakes too but not sure on that. In that specific clip I used one of the treats that you get during winter's feast so it never spoils. It actually just fell through the fence and I didn't bother removing it. I had hounds disabled cus they are annoying and used that varg farm to farm the hounds whenever it was needed.
@@agikir545 It only works for the hounds summoned by varg. Doesn't work on the ones that spawn naturally. On the other hand you can also use fossils. They can't destroy those. I think one fossil should be enough. They will get stuck on it when trying to reach the meat.
No, I just gathered them up. I used only like half of the archive turf on the roads. I think you can make some more with the terra firma tamper as well. They don't respawn with ruin reset.

Turn your camera by using q or e. The sign will always point right, relative to your camera.

How did you relocate the tumbleweeds to the lunar island? They looked very cool bouncing around there.
World settings were slightly easier. Tumbleweeds were made slightly more common. Was still using the old world gen when this world was made.

@@sunrise_reverie It makes the natural roads way more visible during the winter. That's why i used them. Also cus they look nice.
