- How Much Water Flowrate in a Well is adequate for my house? How do I know what I need for my well flowrate? What is the average flowrate for a water well This is one of our most common questions we get about wells and I go into discussion about what we typically use as reference points depending on different size houses and whether you are irrigating or not.
how deep would a well have to be at .5 gallons per minute
Got my well completed a couple months ago thanks to you guys. The videos and answering a few stupid questions let me do it myself and saved me some money. Thanks man.
thanks for tuning in and subscribing to our channel
I got 100 per min in Statesville nc area on 365 foot well

How can I contact you directly to ask you a couple questions
We have 15gpm but not enough pressure to wash a car or hose driveway off unless I use a nozzle with a special head, even when coming off the spigot just past the pressure tank. Sounds like I need to check the tank.
I am watching a lot of your videos. I really like how you explain things - thank!! I am on Long Island. I had a well placed for irrigation only. My sprinkler company hooked up the well out and split the line; one line to the valve manifold and the other went back to my house. I do not understand why the water goes back to my house, it is purely for irrigation. Any ideas why? He is no longer around so I cannot ask him. I know the shut off valve is in the basement and that is where the electric is. I have a BIG issue with pressure too high splitting hoses and sprinklers heads every year. I have 30 valves around an acre of property. All I see is the check valve on my well line. I need to put a rust filter, pressure gauge as some type of pressure reducer once I can figure out how to check my actual numbers. Can you list the order these things should be in? My well company is not returning calls and all I know is that they put in a 4” 1 ½ hp franklin j class pump with drop pipe and screen. I do not know the depth or any rates. I appreciate any help you can give to get me started.
Have a question for you. Had a well company drill a well for us in Florida. 180 feet, we installed our own pump, drop pipe, wiring with a above ground control box. We started the well pump, it pumped out some water, my dad closed off just a little of the shut off valve. The points(think their called that), bummed, then there was no water coming out. Control box hums, you can see the pipe move when power is turned on, no water coming out.
Our water is milky looking, we were going to run it so it clears out. Why would the pump shut off like that?
How many pounds of pressure can I expect out of a well. My city water pressure is 80.
Is 15 GPM good
It's great
If a 160 feet deep well only produces 65 gallons of water per 24 hour period, can I do anything to improve the production of the well, or am I better off starting over and digging a new well?
Have you tried a dowser?
30 years ago, I wanted to install a geothermal water to air pump. Needed a 3 ton machine and the machine needed 10 gpm. Had a dowser walked the ground. He indicated an emplacement where I would get 850 gpm of potable water (bit of iron), at 68 feet depth. I know, hard to beleive but it all worked out exactly as he said.
Yes have it fracked could open seams of water.
This man is a genius
The volume is a little low. Can you please increase it a little in production? Great videos.
