yeah, i feel like its prob the most obv choice for a song by him since he's the only producer who rlly makes original songs where qixuan sings in japanese and tbh parts of this just remind me a lot of a certain few of his songs (specifically mafuyu no musume from km3 and koshin koshin koshinchu from km5, as well as obviously just generally stuff from km7)
I personally think that this song it's actually from kikuo. Aside from using Qixuan, I hear some patrons on the song that are very unique from Kikuo recent songs, I heard this song like the entrance for the "renewed" kikuo style, starting from "深い森のなかで" Kikuo always used a particular form of "repeating chorus" we can hear it clearly on songs like "見つかんない見つかんない" and "イイコと妖狐" some words are always repeating on the chorus of the song, it's something that kikuo always have been using since I heard their first songs. I don't really know a lot of music, but the scales on the song are very similar like used on other Kikuo songs, we can hear it more clearly on 2:50, the sudden change of tone to a more "sad" "nostalgic" sound nearly on the final chorus of the song it's been always something unique from Kikuo's style too. If I remember, this song was released in a event from NicoNico, the purpose of the event it's that vocaloid producers release their songs in anonymity, often trying to change their style or just using new ways to make the song (like using vocaloids that they don't use, or changes in the instruments they usually use), just making difficult identify who made it, that's why this song sounds kinda different from kikuo's usual instrumentation, but still remaining parts from it's principal style. It's just my theory, but if you want to add something i'm always glad to hear!
This song was also released June 2022, before Kikuo started using Qixuan often, so it would be experimental ( On his blog, he wrote that his submission was experimental for the time, I was believe he clarified that his submissions used Qixuan, but I'm noy sure)
I don't think this is a Kikuo song, he said he didn't know other vocals synths besides vocaloid when he was participating in this event and QiXuan is from ACE Studio, he started using her after this.. But the songs sounds really Kikuoish tho
Honestly it could be him since if you listen to this with earphones you can feel the sound go from one side to the other which is something kikuo does a lot
based on his past work and discography and many many years to listening to him this does not resemble any of his past works. Kikuo tends to add past work flare to his newer work none of this sounds like him, there might be parts that sounds like something he could make but I can 100% say for a fact this is not him. @@roofogato
@@fevernight123 Interesting. I personally, do believe it's KIKUO. As for why, back in 2022 when he entered the anonymous comp., he gave hints as to what songs we're his (These hints are available on his Pixiv, though it's all in Japanese) He mentioned how his song(s) Didn't get a lot of views (The songs have risen since then, but are still relatively low compared to other songs) He also mentioned how the song was very experimental, which may explain the drift from his usual style Though, there's some similarities here. The 80's aesthetic (Which KIKUO is known to be inspired by), The "punchy" drums (Can be heard in Astral Travel) and the general vibe aligns with what, at least I personally, expect from KIKUO And not to make a long comment longer, but Roadie Roadie was the only song in the entire comp. to use Qixuan, an ACE Virtual singer KIKUO has shown great interest in Of course, it's still very possible it's a coincidence and KIKUO's song could be elsewhere, but all these combined leads me to think Roadie Roadie was KIKUO's song
I did not know that, thank you! With that knowledge it can very much be so. It would be very wild for this to be his song but I can see your point. @@roofogato
that does really sound like kikuo made it
I like how at this point we just think its kikuo

I love it!

it's so funny how most ppl think that songs featuring qi xuan r by kikuo
he's the only mainstream producer who uses her after all
@@starmage_constellarplus basically no one uses her for japanese songs besides him
cant you hear the instruments he uses? also the random vibratto.... and the sound goes round and round in headphones
Wtf this is good.. nice 80s feel
80s? didn't know it was that cause this kind of reminds me of dayglow
Me gustó
It sounds like shensi kamattachan and molchat doma made a colab
Not Kikuo
wrong
Care to explain?
