I don't know why so many people here complain about talking. If you know everything, what are you doing here? For me all the comments were extremely useful.
At 12:43 he is making a classic transition for going from the F chord to the G chord, by transitioning through an F#dim7 chord: the notes are F# A C Eb, in any order.
Hahaha some of these comments crack me up! I had a lot of fun doing shows with Scott, he’s awesome. Good luck everybody and remember everybody’s got to figure out how to play the best they can in the given moment... and everyone is different. Fats was Fats I’m just Matt
Scott, could you PLEASE re-post the segment from episode 907 where Bradley Sowash walks through Heart and Soul!!!! .............................................................................. I saw it a while ago and now that i have time to work through it its gone:( I specifically want that chord progression transition that he shows. Thanks for your show by the way, I enjoy it.
It is great piano playing - but I sure wish that when purchasing your video's I could just download it instead of waiting for a DVD to come to Europe :-(
I loved this in 2012 I ask Mat t to contact me to make me a video of this Real Slow I Found better teachers and still love this song, Matt never came through . He's Awesome just the same
I fail to see how anyone would need sheet music for this three chord song. Perhaps a chord sheet but not sheet music. Its the same thing played over and over in three chords plus a change up on the bridge...The purpose of this tutorial is to teach you how to play it. Why would you need sheet music breaking it down more?
Too bad we had to set through all that talking until the end at 10:50 for the good part of playing. Could have done without the singing. Wasn’t that good.
Wow this thing goes off the rails about 7:00... the melody and bridge are way out ... plus this song just isn't right in C. I play it in B and I can play it in tune with the original recorded song by Fats, although people say he played it in Bb, it sounds in B on playback so that's how I learned it with 5 sharps.
He is good, but Even though I know the cords I didn't get the rhythm or the order of notes he played in base. Kind of a useless video for a learner like me. It needs to be slowed down more. Maybe it would help if he said the # s of the keys in the scale. That would move easily from cord to cord. Right hand was not understood for the sane reason. Too bad I was hoping to get something out of it. Too fast for learners.
Less talking would be better, but since this is a TV show, a lot of the information he's spewing out is not necessarily what you want to see on youtube. It would be nice to edit the conversation out and show just the instructional portion with a voice over of the obvious points. Sometimes if you listen to someone speaking about HOW something is supposed to be played, it actually will make you play better. Thus, I'd cut out the crap about "let's just give that away" and "I've got a secret" and perhaps have Scott sit down and play it after he learns it from his guest. That would be the tell tale answer as to whether or not this is really a good tutorial. That said. I will shut up now.
I am watching this video to learn piano, not to listen to your voice the whole time. Are you teaching or just wanting attention about yourself. Be less verbal man. Get to the freakin point.
I think Scott had just a wee bit too much coffee before he started this session. Such a motormouth! Amazing!
The best part starts at 10:50, wow, great and just awesome. Piano tutorial plus singing, Bobby :))

great song
Great stuff
Fats always played it live in Bb
It was actually A#
It is great piano playing - but I sure wish that when purchasing your video's I could just download it instead of waiting for a DVD to come to Europe :-(
Where is the intro at I only see the little part but not the rest
DON'T YOU JUST HATE IT WHEN THE PROS HAVE SECRETS ?
shoudn't it be in bflat? it would sound much better
Is this the right key?
No - Fats (RIP) played in Bb
He doesn't play the right chords for the "wind in the willow"-part. Fats is alternating between what in this case would be C major and F minor.

Blueberry Hill to Salsbury Hill.
This youtube channel is a bad influence on people wanting to start piano. When's the last time the piano was tuned?
The last time that guy had hair
I can play it but it's just the left hand that gets me.
Bluberry Hill er nok den mest spillede sang - Fats Domino - Peter Bryan-Lund

Hmm the sheet music I have found is in the key of B
@@simonboyes2550 Where did you find that sheet music? I figured it out by ear based on the original recording.
Transcript doest work .50%at best
anyway it is not the right way to play the bridge if you you want to play it like Fats ( just listen to him , that's the better way ).
