    Not one mention of klint kubiak. Derek carr had a better stats than baker Mayfield last year, derek carr had 25 tds to 8 ints. Mayfield was 28 tds to 10 ints. Mayfield had a 94.4 rating, derek carr with a 97.7. Rashid shaheed was 3rd I'm the nfl with explosive tds last year. Kamara was suspended for 3 games and still put up over 1000 all purpose yards. And to say the saints defense is washed? Tyran matthew had 4 ints. And demario davis had his beat season in his entire career last year. And Cameron Jordan was INJURED last year, that's why is production was down. Plus marshon lattimore is back too. Saints biggest weakness is the o line, and the system klint kubiak is bringing to new orleans takes alot of pressure of of the o line, because the plays don't take a long time to develope. Pete carmichaels offense had very long routes that too 5+ seconds to develope. With a bad o line that's a recipe for disaster.

      They admitted how much they hate the saints. They are not going to mention the very thing that makes the saints better this year. Pete Carmichael was the worst offensive play caller last season. But they do pay attention to the like the rest of the league.

      I'm going to be honest. I'm not a saints fan, but if you understand football, you are 100% right. I looked up rashid shaheed highlights and he is EXPLOSIVE. I also looked at at perry highlights to see the hype, and if you haven't, you should watch his highlights, he looks VERY similar to michael thomas. The klimt kubiak system is a shannahan system. And the saints do have very similar style weapons. Kamara and mccaffery are pretty much the same style player. So I will admit, as a guy who understands football, people should definitely not be sleeping on the saints. With that defence, and that style offence, they can be scary.

    Tampa will win this division. I believe they have a floor of 9 wins and a ceiling of 14 wins. Ya’ll said they didn’t really do anything to get better but there secondary has greatly improved which was a massive weak point last year and perhaps the biggest improvement will he their run game. They have made a massive improvement to the O-line, RB depth, and offensive coaching. The depth at WR is also far improved from last year. With a more competent OC this team’s offense will be even more dynamic with better weapons. The only major concern to have with Tampa is passrush. At the very worst I think it will be about the same as last year with potential upside that could shock people.

    As long as all ATL’s games are at 1pm they will be fine. Kirk starts sundowning around 4pm. Coming back from a serious injury at that age is not easy. We could tell by ATL draft how confident they are that Cousins will be 100% again.
    The Bucs win the Superbowl and follow it up by winning their division the last 3 years. Winning playoff games every year and you start off by saying they suck. If TB was a big market team you would say that you have to beat the Bucs to win the division. But they get no respect. Last year 150 dead cap year everyone saying they win 3 games and they came one drive away from the NFC champ game. We feed off the disrespect keep it coming.

    Instead of talking about the NFC South, Ziggy, is the Tour De France virtually over? My take is it is over. Tadej learned how to pace his calories and isn't going to screw up.

    • @ThePaulFarringtonShow
      @ThePaulFarringtonShow  Місяць тому +1

      Well, Tadej is certainly well known to bonk anyway… They’ve been trying to get him to eat right for years and I can’t imagine it’s suddenly been fixed.
      Still, it’s hard to see Pogacar losing at this point. Vingegaard put together arguably the second best climbing performance in recorded history on Sunday (I think it’s even better than Pantani’s 97 performance)-but Pogacar still crushed him. Seriously. It’s hard to see ‘Giro fatigue’ catching up to Pogacar if he’s in this good of shape. But you do never know. The gap is small enough that if Pogacar has a bad day and Vingegaard has the time trial of his life, Pogacar can still lose. Unlikely, for sure. But not impossible.

    Ok let's start the obvious points you either don't care to check for yourselves. Cousins had an average over his career 3500 yrds per season. Around 24-10 td to int avg. Baker had some down seasons. His 1st season his 3rd season injured throughout shoulder. Whent to Panthers no weapons injured 5 gamesbthen went to LAR on 48 hrs notice. Both he didn't have training camp or any time to get synced with receivers yet if you include the 5 hames would be close to having and avg over 6 years of 3500 yards. But here is the big stat. Baker 2-2 in the playoffs Cousins 1-3. Baker 10 tds 3 ints Cousins 5-1 tds to ints. Baker jas more yards than Cousins in the playoffs. And if you want Cousins his first 6 years no playoffs. Well 1 a loss but I don't count it like I didn't above since he threw 10 passes completing 3 for 31 yards. Force those stats into your brain. Then come up with another reason to hate Baker. He is Better than o0% of the qbs given he has only played 6 seasons 8 coaching staffs and 4 teams. Now tell me any qb out there with this much diversity that has or could have done better. Heck Dak 1 team has a 2-5 post season record. Great he has stats but where did they take him or Cousins? How about everyone's love Lawrence hasn't gone anywhere been injured a lot yet top 5 paid. For what his college career? Well Baker beat Mahomes in college so what.

    I will say thr Bucs picked up a center, and edge rusher, and got back their safety. Not to mention another rb. And you think they will do no better than last year? They also drafted a wr that is doing very well in camp so far. All thus translates into a far better season. Not to mention a OC Baker has worked with on the Rams. And yet the Bucs lost by 1 score against the lions at their stadium in the playoffs. When their coach didnt call a timeout that could have given them the ball back with enough time to tie the game. Ok fault away. Atl has a qb coming back from ACL surgery that has to play on turf. If he makes it to week 5bwithout reinjuring it they may have a chance if he is even 100% by then. Last I heard he stull isn't 100% now.

    • @ThePaulFarringtonShow
      @ThePaulFarringtonShow  Місяць тому

      We'll see what happens. But it's really hard for me to take training camp hype on a WR and a center (and Randy Gregory, I guess, who's a worse player than Shaq Barrett was last year) and think that'll transform the team. I also don't think you can look at a 4 game sample size and take that to be definitive of who the players are.
      Not sure where you're pulling a 3500 yard per season average for Cousins. Are you counting seasons where he didn't play much? On a per game average, Kirk has averaged 263/1.8/.7. Baker has averaged 228/1.45/.8/. Those look like pretty different players to me. That's also ignoring a lot of in-game context, but that's ok.
      I think focusing a lot on very small post-season sample sizes easily distorts who a player is. Looking at their career gives a lot more context for what players do consistently, and are a lot more predictive for future performance than playofss. But hey, it's an open division. If Baker can put together a decent season, the Bucs should be competitive for the division.

    • @michaelbelshaysr4525
      @michaelbelshaysr4525 Місяць тому

      @ThePaulFarringtonShow well if you wish to be pickt and choose season where they were healthy I guess you could you can take a 12 yr career vs a 6 year career still lopsided. But if you take Cousins 6 yrs against Bakers 6 fine. Again I discounted Cousins first playoff so if I added it back he would be 1-4. That is what I said 1-3. Vs 2-2. Anotherwords Baker has taken his team further than Cousins. Twice Cousins has taken the team 3 times won only 1. Cousins has less yards in all 5 appearances less tds 5 vs 10 less ints 1 vs 3. But for 2 ints I'll take 5 extra tds. Seems they offset and have scores left over. Cousins may or may not even be as good as Dak. But Baker has done better than both. Dak 2-5 in they playoffs in 5 attempts. I believe he made it further than the other 2 but 4 time just appearing doesn't bode well for you as a great qb. Baker at least has won at least 1 playoff game each te he has made it. All the season stats can say all they want. Playoffs are a new season and Baker has at least won both time. The orlther 2 Dak and Cousins just once have they won in the playoffs. Again Baker was injured his third or 4th season with Cleveland and still had taken the Browns further than anyone else has in a long time. So the following season he was injured with the panthers for 5 games not much in way of a front line or weapons sure 1 receiver 1 rb but that was about all. Then as I stated he had 48 hours to get ready for his first hame as a Ram. Take away 8 hrs for air travel doesn't bode well. Yeah 8 coaches 4 teams who do you know would be as good as Baker with all of that. And no one thinks he can repeat what he did. Sure a new OC but one he had on the Rams so it's not new to hom.

    • @michaelbelshaysr4525
      @michaelbelshaysr4525 Місяць тому

      @ThePaulFarringtonShow Cousins should have had far better stats than Baker his first 6 years and should have taken the skins to 2 playoffs after all he only played on 1 team not 4. He may have had 2 coaches I can't remember. I lived in Maryland at the time. Not many Nad any faith in him. His second half of his career has been in Minn. More weapons 3 playoffs and only 1 win in them and 5 tds in 3 games doesn't give your team much hope.
