Honestly amazing, the only other piece that I have and reviewed is my 1/2 scale Aquaman by Queen Studios, it also has silicon head, rooted hair and glass eyes. For what JND has achieved for only their 2nd product is breathtaking, literally as good if not better than prototype. Huge improvement from their first piece which was the Joaquin Phoenix Arthur Fleck. They created a hair and design team, there’s even rooted eyelashes. The paint is very well done on the silicon head. And the fact that they did it in a smaller scale is breathtaking. Can’t wait to receive their Heath Ledger Joker this year, then Catwoman and Harley Quinn next year. There’s also a rumor that they’re going to do Christian Bale Bruce Wayne next. Honestly think that the high quality Medical Grade Silicon with glass eyes is what takes it to the uncanny valley level. The body is still polystone, even Queen studios 1/3 Scale Batman is using resin head in order to put the hair on, and for the likeness. I think the only way you can get a polystone head to look as good is to have a master painter complete custom work.

I’m torn to be honest, I want JND to have the same if not more success than Hot Toys but I’m hoping they don’t fall into the same trap that Hot Toys has gotten into, where they try to expand too much, purchase a list if licenses and end up abandoning or never really completing a license. The same is happening with Queen Studiios which utterly guts me, as their Joker, Batman and Aquaman have been amazing, but they keep releasing version and version of Iron Man Statues, and some of the 1/4 pieces on QS were priced ridiculously high for their size. There’s also a reason why JND may seem like Hot Toys on steroids, Kojun and Soyoung Lee were previous sculptors there and were known for their better received Hot Toys figures that they help sculpt and design. I’m keeping fingers crossed that JND grows, slowly but steadily, where they maybe release 6-8 statues a year all with the same quality and pursuit of innovation and attention to detail that they’ve shown thus far. If you see the vids for their first statue to this 2nd one, the improvements are amazing. Yeah the Gladiator Hulk is one of m wife’s favorite pieces, we got it from SSC back when it only cost $599, now same statue costs $899-999 at SSC. I still collect some Hot Toys mainly their Quarter Scale figures. I’ve got the 1/4 scale Spiderman which seems to actually ship this month, as there’s been some you tubers in Asia that have done an unboxing, then either end of this year or next year I’ve got Mandalorian in 1/4 from Hot Toys planned to arrive. Next for JND will be Joker looking forward to their production reveal. You can purchase JND Studios from them directly or Big Bad Toystore or Spec Fiction, Queen Studios I recommend Primo Collectibles or Spec Fiction, and just recently QS announced they now have license to release Marvel 1/2 and 1/1 scale in USA though no formal distributors announced that I know of yet. QS next rumored piece is Captain America, and folks are assuming silicon head for it.

It’s actually a detolf from ikea, I placed it on bottom as I’m not sure it would hold up over time on the glass shelves

Yes JND is in scale with the Queen Studios 1/3. It’s primarily Prime1 statues where they can be out of scale
