A slower rate of inflation sounds good, but with inflation rate much higher than wage growth for a long time now, is a slower infl rate enough to ease the pain and help stretch the dollar?. Need the rate slowed down for a while. Also, some corp profits have been pretty darn good, but consumers still end up paying the price as these corps blame everything on inflation, even while making great profits.. They refuse to absorb any costs. Pass to consumer. Hmmm. Workers and consumers take the hit. That is how the system works though. Need a better balance of power. We need to be aware of corporate concentration. Need better rules.
