As a born and raised in Northern California I love how this video shows all we have to offer. The Coast, the beautiful Mountains and our deserts too. Not sure if I'd be happy living anywhere else because we can drive less than 3 hours away and be in a completely different envirorment. Thanks One Republic for covering that so beautifully.

It's been 2 years. We got a lawyer and I worked towards getting a B2 Visa. I went on the Interview and I passed it! After 2 years I finally booked my flight in August and I will finally see my Man there again. This song means so much to me because I heard it after I passed the interview. This song gives me the motivation to stick through and fight for the last days until I can fly. I'm so happy and thankful because this song was released at the right time.

As a metalhead, this is the pop band I respect the most. The Script, The Fray, Coldplay etc they're quite good but One Republic to me are levels above. Ryan is an incredible songwriter as well, only recently found out he wrote bleeding love and halo. And what a vocalist, his performances of halo at global citizen and apologize/stay with me at pinkpop are outstanding

This song was teased on an Instagram live back in 2016 (definitely west coast, had the same chorus lyrics) then as far as I know Ryan gave it to U2 or something a year later and that was Summer Of Love, then here we are 6 years later with West Coast’s revival 👍

Ryan said in an interview that an artist fucked op his song he wrote. Rumours are that this is “Summer of Love”, so basicly “West Coast” was meant as a U2 song
This song was teased on an Instagram live back in 2016 (definitely west coast, had the same chorus lyrics) then as far as I know Ryan gave it to U2 or something a year later and that was Summer Of Love, then here we are 6 years later with West Coast’s revival 👍
