I'm in a long distance relationship with my fiance since 3 years.
I'm from Germany and he's from the US California.
I was visiting him in CA and had the best time of my life with him there until the Pandemic hit and I had to overstay my Esta Visa.
With that I was not allowed to fly ever back to the US.
It's been 2 years. We got a lawyer and I worked towards getting a B2 Visa.
I went on the Interview and I passed it!
After 2 years I finally booked my flight in August and I will finally see my Man there again.
This song means so much to me because I heard it after I passed the interview.
This song gives me the motivation to stick through and fight for the last days until I can fly.
I'm so happy and thankful because this song was released at the right time.
When I was 13 counting stars was released and since then I‘m simply in love with everything OneRepublic does. Every song is special and wonderful but west coast gives me this feeling listening to it, I can’t really describe it. I just love it! Keep going 1R you’re doing great!

As a born and raised in Northern California I love how this video shows all we have to offer. The Coast, the beautiful Mountains and our deserts too. Not sure if I'd be happy living anywhere else because we can drive less than 3 hours away and be in a completely different envirorment. Thanks One Republic for covering that so beautifully.

Do I hear...California Dreaming? Man this song should be the new anthem for California, it's so good and should be as iconic as California Dreaming in the next few years. Anyone else been waiting for this song to be released for 6 years?
I first heard it on their Instagram live in 2016 and got ADDICTED to rewatching the 30 second clip of it. They released Oh My My; not a bonus track. Then they gave it to U2 to be Summer Of Love, still no release under OneRepublic. It wasn’t a stand alone single like Connection or No Vacancy. It wasn’t even on their 16 track album Human! BUT FINALLY. ITS HERE AND ITS SO GOOD!!

I heard this Song last night for the first time when I woke up and the radio was still on. I love it! This song has the California vibes, I can literally see the golden sun, smell the ocean and feel free as a bird. This is a perfect song i've been waiting for.
As a metalhead, this is the pop band I respect the most. The Script, The Fray, Coldplay etc they're quite good but One Republic to me are levels above. Ryan is an incredible songwriter as well, only recently found out he wrote bleeding love and halo. And what a vocalist, his performances of halo at global citizen and apologize/stay with me at pinkpop are outstanding
Ryan wrote songs for Adele too and many big artists.
For me Ryan is not just a songwriter,I think is more than that:his songs are changing life's.
Ah, in my case i listened to the script the most, but this is the best song ive heard from coldplay
