In Future we will know about PTA Tax Corruption Scandal, as for example PTA get 160 k for and iPhone 14 and what does PTA provide for 160k to the user, nothing more than a Network, and the Network is also managed by privete telecom. So for no apparent service of PTA, a user pay 160k for a phone to be used in this Country. Which means PTA makes billions and billions without spending a dime.
Finally someone addressed this. Government is being a completely unreasonable a*shole when it comes to PTA tax and phone industry. Specifically the PDM govt has been clueless on how to proceed with things. We haven't had any kind of new phone launches for about 6 months and the prices of older ones aren't dropping. People would keep buying non pta phones and the system will collapse for good. That sounds like a blessing in disguise. It was never a feasible system.

You forgot to mention that people now get their phones registered through a patch which in market language is called ‘VIP Approved’ where they reboot the android phones and patch an IMEI number of some nokia phone, then get it registered for 1k-2k rupees.
The people have been forced to take action because the government doesn't give a shit about them and I would personally buy a 60000 OnePlus 8 than Infinix 12 for 60000
Don't forget the server approved fones with patch fones and what a pity that these patch , vip patch and server approved patch fones are freely selling on olx and open market 😂
