Quel match !
The best result of a good quality season so far, because here our youngsters display the sort of vigour and steeliness that are characteristics also required of a winning team. Well done all, terrific to see these new qualities in our team.
Just Continue Excellent Goal From Daniel Ballard, Dan Neil & Jobe Bellingham. Sunderland AFC Comeback Winners Against Swansea City In The Swansea Stadium Score 2-3.
Quite a transformation, what after a poor first-half. In fact, having gone 0-2 down so early on, I tended to fear the worst, and that we might just end up on the wrong end of heavy defeat. In which case, I’d have happily settled for a point, so to get all three was a real bonus. And credit to the side, for putting in an improved second-half showing. While perhaps going 0-2 quite early on was a good thing, for perhaps it was "the spark" we needed to get us going! And if I’ve got my history/facts correct, then before yesterday, the previous occasion we came from 0-2 behind, to win 3-2 away from home, was at WBA, back in the memorable 1998-99 season. So as the aforementioned win came in a Championship/promotion-winning season, might yesterday’s 3-2 away success be a lucky omen of sorts? And that season 2024-25, if not necessarily a Championship/title-winning season, might still turn out to be a promotion-winning season? It will be interesting to see ….
That's the Sunderland I want to see. Very strong comeback. Keep pushing for the 3 pointers. Not this drawing a bazillion games like some. That will never end in promotion.
Honestly the commentary for the neil goal is quality imo - "skippers goal if ever there was one". I know people are taking the p1ss cos he said "realm of relevance about 900 times" but at least he's not biased like skysports and his commentary on goals is spot on. Would love a good commentator on the SAFC EFL streams. Love Frankie but his commentary is below average. And love when the crowd stops singing just before the Jobe goal cos they know we gonna score haha. What a result man. Just feels like it could be our season - we haven't come back from a 2 nil defeat and won in the league since late 90s against west brom. Best start to a season in god knows how long. Best home record I can remember. Playing stunning football. For me we need 4 signings in Jan. A winger that can play on both sides. Attacking Mid. Cover at right back and a goal keeper to give some competition to Patterson (who I personally think has been our weakest link this season, great shop stopper but his distribution is woeful and he doesn't command his box well enough). I know many want a striker but I feel with Isidor, Mayenda, Connelly and Abdullahi coming back from injury we'll be fine. Ba, Rusyn, Jewy and Hjelde should be moved on.
Pretty sure their first goal was off-side, atleast it looked like it from the camera angle. What a turn around for us though, never stopped believing and gave it their all. Well done lads. Credit to Le Bris for getting us to play some nice football. STID
That was a weird first goal. Never ever have I seen our defenders stood like pints of milk looking everywhere apart from where their one player is stood waiting for the ball to come to his feet. It was amateur defending from otherwise solid defenders. Thankfully though, Swanseas defenders were worse but still we need to shore up the defences. Good game, valuable points but can you score another three without leaking any next time ta 😊

Sunderland are back in the realm of relevance in the top 3.
Well done to the Lads for demonstrating such resilience!

He will always be #2 after his brother's Real Madrid heroics and legendary status @ Birmingham

Loving this team. And coach of course. Some great goals today.
We’re at our best with a high press. Need more of it going forward

The commentator really likes being in the "realm of relevance" doesn't he?!
Someone's abit angry they lost
@Connor-pz3qh Except we won...! 🤣
He’s operating in the realm of woke word salad!
That's what I thought. He's very proud of it, isn't he? 😆
@@chrisbland8946why are you hating on the commentator?

Im a full Sunderland fan but doesn’t the commentator sound like stampylongnose and at times mickey mouse 😂😂😂
If we can stop conceding goals we'll defo be up in with a shout
Great turnaround. Unacceptable mistake from Patterson, get him dropped.
If your a Swans fan
👇
Jobe might as well put bellingham on back of shirt as these commentators refuse to say jobe..
Aye, apparently he's got a famous brother or something also plays footy. Never seen any of his vids in me feed, just Jobes
It would be great if commentators called him Jobe & didn't make reference to his older brother 🙄
didnt take long to throw away a 2 goal lead
arghhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!
THE OTHER BELLINGHAM
FIGHT IS
Bellingham should NOT have been booked as there was no foul… the Swan just dived! 🤦♂️
Duck n dived
Traiganos al manchester city, le metemos 4

got to wonder why patto didn't punch it clear. He probably could av come and claimed it
Was shaking my head like a madman watching that. Free kick was a worldy tho
Came down on the 6 yard line, keepers ball all day 🤷🏻♂️
Popic can't be that alert IF he's only scored 1 goal in 4 months pretty dire really now wonder Swansea are so awful to watch 🏐🥅⚽
Thriller at the valleys. htl. ftm. stid.
👊🤨
Supported Sunderland for 58 years and I still get that fantastic feeling when we score and when we win x
