Well done Matt that was a dreadful piece of parking putting pedestrians especially children at risk. But security people these days have a green light to behave like thugs and law breakers and the cops back them every time. So they feel totally entitled. Must be a directive because I’ve never seen them called out.
@@juliandavies1974 I think in an ideal world the van would not park there, but realistically it has to deliver/collect cash, so parking a long way off would be difficult and risky. Delivery drivers such as this guy are racing against the clock so would not stop longer than necessary. I'm not defending bad parking but he is not taking the P. He is just doing a job and I'm sure the police would agree, hence they 'turn a blind eye'.
Yeh, probs more, the fact of the matter is he was making it worse with the traffic and the bus trying to get past an already busy road at a busy time with 4-6 year olds crossing! There was a speed camera van safely parked just down from there the other day for the first time....yes i was going to pay him a visit.....to say well done that's what it is all about, perfect place, but errrm, i'm not allowed.
Totally get that and if he had been on double yellows directly outside a shop with no busy school crossing like that i would genuinely not have batted an eyelid with the same thoughts you mention, there were 2 spaces only about an extra 10 seconds walking but he never even had a look just rocked up and went in.....
@@mat12128 He wasn't on double yellows he was parked in a bus stop from what I could see and just at the end of the no parking zone all be it, it were close to a pedestrian crossing especially for a bus with that room but having said that stopping in a bus stop is wrong as well as obstructing traffic.
0:33 clearly shows the vehicle is not on double yellow lines. Regarding parking in front of the crossing, this is not relevant as it is parked outside the crossing's zig-zag markings. Agreed, parked on a bus stop and on the pavement.
Just watching ABs video with a nasty G4S driver parked on the pavement out side Greggs while he was topping up his gut with sausage rolls. They must feel they are above the law like the coppers.

Parked by a crossing where pedestrians, including children are coming out of school, on double yellows, in part of a bus stop, one tyre on kerb. AB has just done a video where a G4S van is parked up on the pavement buying his lunch from Greggs.
Your wrong he’s not parked illegally as it’s an Act. Not law …. You embarrass yourself constantly and he was parked at end of the white markings for the crossing so people crossing are technically safe your just desperate to find issues.
I think people should cut cash vans some slack. If they get a hard time it will lead to the further demise of cash, introduction of digital cashless society and inevitable social credit system where your money and spending can be rationed and controlled. This is very serious and too easily dismissed.
Hello Mat! Are you back? Miss your video's. I was just watching one of AB's latest this morning involving a G4S van parked on the pavement. Thought just came to mind that if someone just stood in front of the van or if there was two auditors the other one stood behind the van, the van would be unable to move but as pedestrians have right of way on a pavement what could the driver do? The police would obviously called but if you are just stood on a pavement then you are not really causing a problem so could refuse to move. Of course if the driver was issued with a ticket for illegal parking then the problem may not possibly happen in the future? I think you will get the idea! The same could happen in this case, standing in front of an illegally parked van deciding whether it is safe to cross or not, of course you would have to do a full risk assessment which could take some time and of course you are not causing an obstruction by doing this as it is actually the van that is causing the obstruction. Hope you are on the way back!
I park in bus stops, and double yellows all the time and no one comes and takes my picture. I hope you do the same to members of the public when you see them.
