Looks like quite a physical workout to hammer out the notes. Do your hands get bruised by playing such a demanding instrument? The overtones create a mysterious and other worldly ambiance. I find it an enjoyable challenge to put aside my expectations about what is typically considered "in tune" and hear the music from its own frame of reference. You can't create the same kind of unusual experience with standard overtones. Thank for sharing this haunting and magical sounding music. 👍
@@alexjohnson4719 That explanation was good o.o really really good. Also, wow yt algorithm, it recommended something new (content) that is actually new (time-wise)! Now I want to know more about the Carillon, I'll scout your channel a bit

He ate that up and left no crumbs.

Better play it right or else the floor falls out beneath you.
Erm?
Is this supposed to be beautiful? Why am i not enjoying it? I mean the sound is not pleasant in my ears
Sounds out of tune. Someone should make a video explaining why that is 🤔
My colleague, and predecessor here at UChicago, recently did exactly that! Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/msnn4eh1QrU/v-deo.htmlsi=T7822sJpXDRoRBQc
