I can't believe how flexible they are. Do they have a tendency to crack around the fastener hole?
Yes, If the clay is not properly baked and if the hole is to small and don't have the cut near the hole!

Your bracelet looks so smooth. I just tried this and the fimo leather is so sticky that when I make imprints in it they do no come out very clear and crisp. Did you put yours in the refrigerator first ? thank you for the tutorial :)
What do you call the bracelet fastener?
Something like swivel buckle
They kinda look like a type of rivet
they are beautifull , mine break where the hole is , i see you make a small cut near the hole ? and how do you get it so shiny ??? greetings

When baking do you start with a cold oven, and then wait until the temperature raises 150 to start your 30min count, thank you for sharing just got my clay in the mail, would like start some Christmas gifts, thank you again

Ludmilla, can I use slices from a Polymer clay cane to put on top of FIMO and bake?
Yes, you can, I made a bracelets top from Premo and inner part from Fimo leather!

How long did you bake it and at what temperature?
Sorry I forgot to mention about baking process as I usually do... I bake almost all my product 30 min at 150"C with thermometer!

These are awesome. Another artist is using Souffle Suede Effects to make faux leather, as she prefers it to The Fimo Leather Effect. I wonder if you would care to comment on this topic. Thanks so much for all of you do to inspire & teach us. Much respect 🌹
Thank you, Becky! Yes, I'm agree - souffle clay also very flexible and durable! And the texture it have also looks similar to a fimo leather! But in Fimo leather I like the consistency in raw clay more then in Souffle.. it's more soft, viscous and it's a pleasure to work with it!
