Over at a friend’s house, I dug a very small retention pond and used the dirt from it to make a berm along the side of their carport, solving a drainage issue without sending the water off the property. On a ranch I work on, I built a small hugleculture type dam at the top of a drainage that has made the pond below it hold more water consistently. I followed Al Baydha from the start and these tiny projects are how I’m involved.
