I just got my 1st car, a 1.5 MIVEC Lancer and I'm throwing a evo spoiler, diffuser and making an exhaust with my cousin. So hyped up.
Just a little advice man. Unless this is your dream car , don't waste your money on it. Just use it as your daily, keep your maintenance and save up for the car you really want. But again if you really want to, more power to you.
@@jaysteez2025 yeah, my uncle imported it from Italy for $3k and I'm throwing $2k in repairs and parts. But in my country (Poland) stock and mid looking/maintained lancers even with a lil bit of rust go for around $5k so I won't lose money on it. And yes, it was my dream car since I was 15 (I'm 18)

Being a fan of most of the car brands, I do agree on it when fans speak of untested top speeds. I remember arguing with a friend who gave the crown to the T80 and spoke of the Bollide and the Jesko. Honestly, with so much hype around mainstream cars, I started shifting to sleeper alternatives

The idle on the Daytona sounds kinda cool though. But that ain’t the point. The point is SRT which stands for “street and racing tech” and the “racing” comes out of the 707 hp. Not the mid level, not the base model. The top dogs only.

I own a Honda accord the wheels on it works and imma ride it till I need new tires, wheels are hella expensive. Yes I hate how mine looks but it’s a money battle. I bought a intake and exhaust system and suspension to improve my driving experience not the looks then I got a body kit and wheels last and if you say I could had spent all that on the wheels then I just have different priorities

My first mods always are going to be an exhaust system, maintenance upgrades, then wheels. My focus is building the car to my liking. 8k in performance parts later I still haven't purchased rims but my cat did come with rays gram lights stock so I'm in no rush to swap
I heard good brakes are the most important, first. Everything sounds good tho. Are you looking for a lighter build? (Lighter tires?) or a heavy, gas guzzling horsepower machine

The "music" on these troll face edits is supposed to be Drift Phonk/Brazilian Phonk (not actual Phonk, more like a sub-thing that came out of it) but with that bass it just sounds like your speakers are dying.
Till now I kept my car clean, and I'm still planning on keeping it stock. (Infiniti G35 2008 sedan)

0-60 is far more important than you think as it demonstrates the ability a car has to overtake and react to situation.
Trend people are getting tired of are videos done by people who haven’t driven for more than 10yrs but act like they know what’s best.
I agree with the last one. I myself am guilty of hating overrated cars but only because they're overrated. The cars themselves I respect, I just hate how overrated they are. For example, I love Supras but I only hate them because people who don't even own them talk so much hype about them and yet in reality stock for stock a Supra could never hold up against most modern sports cars. Yes, Supras are great cars but anyone who knows anything about them knows you have to do a fair bit of tuning to make them any bit competitive so calm down. I guess it's more fair for me to say I hate the people hyping overrated cars rather than me hating the car lol

As a driver of a lifted truck. I go on the beach atleast once a month. But how many cars are built for the track or to go drift but just go to car shows and nvr see the track
As a scat pack owner I know my car is not an SRT, the Scat Pack/Daytona are the modern day equivalent of the R/T 440.

Here's the one "car trend" that needs to be expunged with extreme prejudice: Hating on cars by brand because your friend had a bad experience or because you googled it twice and 6 people clowned on it. Grow up.
I saw a troll face edit one time, and it was a sound comparison. The first one was an SVJ (probably with Gintani), then did the real “troll face” thing when a Mk 4 Supra started revving.

And one of the first things I do after buying a car is clean it. After that, I look and see online if there is good mod support. If not, I just lower it and put stocks from another car on it, as a placeholder (sometimes it looks pretty good)

im 12 but my first car will be bone stock if the previous owner(s) have done nothing to it. Then, i will buy like a 90's civic and start moding it. No, not like the loud muffelers, but just modifiiyng it to learn how to mod well, and basically all i need to know. I might add custom rims and a wrap but not a like a carbon fiber wrap like a mate wrap just something simple. Then ill do subtle engine mods on all other cars!
Tint first. Then wheels and then I’ve done headlights and taillights. Mostly bc I get early 2000s cars that need light updates and that combined with wheels can complete change the car look
Locked out the variable exhaust on my Charger Daytona Scat on day 1. Not SRT!!!! OMG!!!! :0 :) weird it's on the splash screen on the U Connect too. I don't care what it's considered, 2nd best car I ever owned, I loved my 2013 Charger RT, this one has alot to live up to, it will get there eventually. It saved my ass the other day when a rando pickup flew out of a side street in the rain. I stabbed the brakes and ripped around him. Call it a boat but it grabbed and moved like a lighter car in the dry.

tbh I think the overrated to overhating thing is so true, I mentioned at some point in a discord that I wanted to get an R32 maybe gt-r maybe not, and everyone either said 1 of 2 things "You cant afford an R34?" or "JDM Fanboy" and tbh I really dont like jdm cars, and the R33 and R34 are mid for me. I just like the looks of an R32, I feel like people need to stop hating on anyone that mentions a car from a specific market just because its from that market, someone can like specific cars from specific markets without liking all cars within that market.

Off topic - but as someone who grew up near Memphis in the 2000s I can’t stand what tik tok has done to phonk as a genre.
Three Six Mafia is a good place to start if you want to know where it all began.
I’d also suggest Cloud Phonk as a genre if you want to move away from the cringey troll face phonk. Shoutout to the Trappin in Japan series too for some solid mixes.
At least drift phonk in some way could be considered phonk but after that who knows how the hell you can describe the genre

I feel like another thing is that it’s totally okay to hate a car you think is overrated, but you should still respect what went into the car and how it came to be. For example, I hate the dodge challenger and all its trims, but I respect the engineering behind it

The thing I hate about the SRT decals is that 3 years ago it wasn't something that was that popular and in every racing game with a livery editor I had to make the decals myself. Fast foward to now and it would be more creative not to have a decal at all.
For me besides radar detector and first maintance/restoring to glory because it's used car visit would be weight reduction...Weight and stability plus aero are one of most important mods...you can squize more power out of hp and then you know what you tunning arround...you can incress performance with being more efiitient in general then you can build up more horse powers upon that
