Thank u for another beautiful video, Stacy. It's been a rough week, and these Sunday vibes are so good for my mental health. Im so fond of small cutting plants, so i enjoyed the pot up of those.
Watering my plants is like a therapy morning routine. I water every week ..certain plants. Now im planning how to combine some of my small cacti and succulents into arrangements. I bought 7 new house plants..so im enjoying repotting and thrifting for pots!!
Beautiful plants, beautiful terracotta pots. What more can I ask for. Very relaxing and soothing. I just finished reading the glass castle. It’s a memoir (I think you mentioned you didn’t like memoirs once) but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Right now I’m reading the last one at the wedding. It’s an easy read thriller.
Lovely video...I'm always impressed how well organized your plants are. I divide my watering of plants by room...and also recently try to take my time and focus on those plants only, not to get too overwhelmed. Pests mealybugs have been an issue for me this year especially the hoyas.
One of my kids really loved legos when he was young. Now that he's an adult, he commented recently about how easy it is to assemble Ikea furniture for him. He said, "The instructions are just like lego instructions -- no words." He has assembled all of the Ikea plant furniture I have. That lego greenhouse looks so cute. I want to get one! I just got a polyneura outer variegated cutting. It was sent to me by mistake in a recent hoya haul. I'm not complaining! I just hope I can keep it alive. They seem tricky to me.
Stacy you’re tempting me to get that building set.. it’s very cute! Do systemics help with flatmites? I don’t think they’re available here in Ontario but I am struggling with the dang mites on my Hoyas.
Haha, it's a fun little weekend project, and building lego sets helps me destress. I think systemics can work on any pests that feed on the plants because the way systemics works, it gets absorbed into the whole plant through the roots, and anything that feeds on it will be affected.
Stacy I love your videos! I have a few questions. I just purchased systemics on Amazon and was wondering how effective they are and how they are best used. Also what is in the potting mix you use?
Thank you so much! I like to sprinkle in a little bit of the systems into my potting mix. And my potting mix is usually a base of coco coir and I add in amendments to loosen up the base. I like to add pumice/perlite & orchid bark.
I’m into Legos lately too. They are all plant related. Maybe I’ll try this one. I’m always think that off brands do not fit well. Right now I’m stuck doing this money tree for lunar new year. Have to stop missing couple of piece pieces. So I’m waiting for the parts to come .
I was also hesitant to try the off brand ones but I just went by the ones that had good reviews on Amazon and they are actually very comparable to Lego.
I always look forward to your videos. What substrate do you have your Phyllanthus mirabilis growing in? Yours is so pretty and I can’t seem to get mine to root, I’d appreciate any help, thanks.
I believe I have mine in just my regular aroid/hoya mix. I just make sure it has alot of drainage and nice and fluffy potting mix. I water all of my caudex plants very sparingly since they have the ability to retain moisture.
Such a vibe 🫰🏽💚🪴

Thanks so much! I definitely have to stay on top of those mealybugs. They are always popping up here and there.

I really want a tonsuensis. They are not easy to come by!
@kyrad6543 that is actually so accurate regarding the ikea instructions 😆 🤣. The polyneura albomarginata is not too difficult to grow actually!
@kyrad6543 yes those are not as easy to find, but I would definitely check etsy.
merci pour cette bulle de douceur Stacy. Bonne semaine à toi
