This time we went to SS2, famous for its durian.
I tried the KING of fruits, Durian☺️
How does it tastes like? (haha)
Before we went,

楽しく拝見させて頂いています。ドリアンシーズンに合わせて先月ペナン島に行ってこれでもかと言うぐらいドリアンを食べてきました。ペナンではBlack Thornがキロ50リンギットでした。普通にキロ35リンギツトのドリアンでも問題無く食べられるました。ドリアンの物価はペナンの方が安いようですね。
ジャックフルーツは食べましか。こちらも美味しいですよ。乾燥させたチップスも外せませんね。是非是非トライしてみて下さい。
それから、ドリアンを食べた後はお水を飲むようにとよく現地の人に言われました。ドリアンで温まった体をお水で冷やすそうです。実を取った殻に水を入れて飲むそうです。

as a malaysian, i feel a bit funny when foreigners try to describe/compare durian taste with other foods/fruits. To tell the truth, durian flavour is totally unique and belongs to durian. it is delicious on its own unique way. Glad that you guys like durian. Enjoy!
You are right✨ Durian is a very unique food, and I've never tasted it before in my life!
There are many Japanese who have never had it, so I wanted to tell them its taste with a similar food😳

Durian kampung now around RM8/kg. The flesh is thin & taste is unpredictable between each fruit. One could be less sweet than another. It's a gamble 😊

Always remember for foreigner?
I)Eat simple and medium cost durian means rm 50 or below per durian.
II)Trying use it.ex.dislike or like the smell and taste.if everything ok after a few fruit.
III)Then the better fruit like musang king,blk thorn.
Iv)Please ask for coconut water to reduce heatness after eating.or buy near ur place of living.

The 'branded' durian is actually have been selected from the best kampung durian.. bcause branded durian is also kampung durian... Yes if u buy kampung durian, its a luck to get good durian and sometimes better than branded durian but if u dont hve luck u will get less quality durian

In East Malaysia Sarawak durian not sale by kilo but by size. During durian season it is very cheap

@@nami.oishii_malaysianlife yup. When durian season comes you should try it. And remember, do not eat durian a lot. or else you will having a fever. do make sure you bring along three legs cooling water. its to cooldown your body heat. Gambateh!

It’s more expensive than eating lunch 😂 totally agreed in fact it’s expensive than gold. This fruit has been overpriced and exaggerated.

We the malays, usually drink plain water to cool down our body after eating durian. We put water and drink water from durian skin. The white part inner compartment, that is where we put water. Otherwise we eat mangosteen to cool of our body.

As far as durian taste is concern, it is just durian taste like for example, some sweetness, some taste a bit bitter or alcoholic . The meat is munchy, & some thick meat . Durian got smell of fragrance ( a bit ) or just pleasant smell .
But of course, people cant compare that durian taste like grape or onion!!!.🤔😅
