Oh my word! That is a beauty! I have a 135 that gets up with me every day. I haul wood, skid through my woodland lot, maintain the roads and driveways, plow and blow snow. I really think that my tractor is alive and has adopted us. It looks after us 365 days of the year without complaint. Even when the temperature is 30 below it jumps to life and does it's jobs. I don't think I have a piece of equipment on the property that was engineered so cunningly and build with such iron fast reliability and quality. I will never retire this tractor because it is too happy working. Thanks very much for restoring this classic. There will never be another tractor like it.
The 135 is the most beautiful tractor ever made ..everyone in Ireland had one and we still have ours after 45 years...great job..well worth doing..they worked so hard all over the world and punched way way above their weight. What a shame to loose Coventry made M.F...GREAT JOB..
It’s beautiful Olly, it’s lovely to see these old girls getting a restoration after a hard life of service on the farm. Enjoy it and well done to you and all involved 👏👏
It's incredible, I hope you enjoy it for many many years to come, try not to worry about getting the pedals scuffed, but I can understand how much you want it to remain in concourse condition, get it out and enjoy it. That's the main thing.
That's an incredible job, they really done well, they kept the original lights, sourced the proper exhaust and frosted lense plough lam and the correct white exhaust. They even got genuine Goodyear tyres for her, she's exactly how she would have left the factory, its an incredible job, very few men would do as good.👌
I have a 1972 135 that looks a little rough, but runs like a champ. It hit its 50th birthday and 2000 hours this year. I've literally dreamt of restoring it like yours. Congrats, and bravo to all involved in the project, it's beautiful 👏
That’s what I call a fantastic restoration Olly. It should go in a glass case never to be used again. That tractor is history in the making. I am absolutely gob smacked at the job they did and to still find the parts.
Beautifully done. I have a Gasoline Continental powered 135. Restored it 5 years ago. Have been have been using it lightly ever since. I use it in my personal Garden, food plots for deer and sometimes in my grading and excavating business. Nice Defender as well. I wish we could get them in the states.
Absolutely beautiful Olly, always been a favourite of mine, first tractor I ever drove at age of 11, brings back great memories growing up up on the farm in the 70s and watching my father using the 135 for baling straw with a New Holland baler and a Browns of Leighton Buzzard 8 bale sledge. Enjoy
Great to see it restored to what it would have looked like when it came out of the factor. I know it took a long time to restore but it truely looks like it was worth it
when I was 16 my boss bought a brand new 135 ,it was my pride and joy ,washed every saturday and kept in good nick . That was in 1965 it was the first one in the area with the square mudguards and the foot throttle . At the time they were optional extras !I still think it was one of the best tractors ever made.
We have a little 135 at home which I always thought was in decent condition but boy does she look dilapidated compared to that beauty! Very nice, you deserve it mate!
Beautiful looking tractor, I have a 165 that has sat outside the shed for over 10 years and I really want to drive it. We got it started about a month ago but it’s leaking diesel and it needs a roof over it and new tyres. I pumped the tyres up and gave it a wash and it’s shining nearly as bright as your 135. We need a power steering kit because it’s hard to drive with wheel weights. We are going to start making the roof and I can’t wait to use it. You should put a rain cap on the exhaust although it doesn’t need it but it will look good. My 165 has one.
Hello great to see the MF135,a pig farmer up the road from me had 6 and 2 185s,135s got busy and well used in summer hauling 30 foot trailers loaded with straw 7p or 80 miles back to the farm the front wheels wobbled and many times thought that they would fall off,but they kept pulling and if 1 broke down a 185 took over
Hi Olly great job done on the 135, looks and sound's like new again. Those lads know their stuff , It will be looking good again for a lot of years now, Cheer's and best of luck with new Ferguson ,,🚜💨
What a rig 2 classics Defender and the 135. Had the pleasure to own a defender but not a 135 though did use to drive one back in the day the sound of that engine brings back a lot of memories can’t wait to see what you restore next 👍🏻
Stunning restoration, just one small point don't use rope hooks on the trailer for ratchet straps, if you get stopped by the DVSA, you could be prosecuted for an insecure load. Ratchet straps should be secured to the chassis of the trailer.
Looks a cracking tractor olly. Myself and my dad did a restoration of a fordson dexta back to how it left the factory 10 years ago and there is nothing better than going for a drive around on a nice sunny day. Bit of a tip, lift your rear linkage arms up before loading and unloading to avoid them scrapping on the ground as you go up the ramps. 👍
When I Ieft schooI in 1968 my first job was on a farm, within days three MF 135 tractors were deIivered brand new. Was a beautifuI sight to see them parked up in the barn, however one of them was roIIed within the week. The onIy damage was the exhaust was ripped off, this was repIaced within hours and the 135 continued to work for the rest of the day.
My uncle has a Tractor restoration business and its really nice to see the final result of a restored tractor But that little red fergi is a little gem
She looks beautiful . Starting on mine in the new year but purely for use on the smallholding (5ha) not for show , unless you're actually going to work her. Plus I need her asap. Just subbed.

Great video. The MF135 is an icon of style and quality… a timeless classic. Keep up the good work.
Looks amazing with the vintage Good Years on, who don't like diamond walled tires. nice touch with the Youngs plate, such nice detail

Hope you can keep it doing a bit of work and also keep it in good nick.
She’s an absolute beauty! Well done on a fantastic restoration, love it. A Massey 135 was the first tractor I ever drove, over 25 years ago. 😊
