Who remembers the previous match with Alex? 🙄
Me...
Yesssssssss! That dude is very aggressive, and this time he beat miikka…
Me...one of my favorite matches ever
Mee
Me
Alex is ranked 266 in the world. Mikka pulled off a major shock in beating him last year - this was a case of 'normal service resumed.'
This is my 3rd time watching alex vs mikka
I hope to see Alex in the pongfinity channel
1:58 epic set between the women match in the back
I just love it how Mikka is all laughing and having fun on the pongfinity channel and here he's just so serious.
-Love from India.
His opponent was realy good
Seems like Alex get rid of the back pain and played really well in this match
*One thing that played a very Crucial Role behind Every Successful Person is "Failure"*
*So, Don't worry, it's a life, Keep Practicing Mikka!! You'll achieve a lot of Success* 👍👍👍👍👍
Miikkas serves and returns are just not on the level of these guys, because his forehand backhand and footwork isn’t really any worse than Alex’, but serves and returns kinda made the difference here
5:35 what did he say?
i mean miikka doesnt have the peak of his lv ;/
His footwork isn't as good either :(
Awesome, Mikka, can't wait to see where you get to next!
Tons of respect to you guys
love the sharp underspin pokes from Miikka, had Alex struggling at the start
It's was a great match
Both player are so good man .....
CONGRATULATIONS 👏👏👏 ALEX AND TO MIIKKA....
had to watch it twice because first time i was watching girls on other table :D
I was thinking about Alex Naumi just now and the notification popped up haha
0:45 THE AMOUNT OF SPIN IS SO CRAZY LOL
The classic rivalry ⚡️ But I guess we all want to see Alex on the Pongfinity channel as well 😊
nevermind miikka don't lose hope winning and losing is just a part of the game keep on practicing and I'm sure ull beat him very soon
Damn, Alex was returning every serve ridiculously well. And he did it while basically doing only forehand. Miikka was using back hand a lot which led to the ball going astray while Alex with his forehand was making some impressive shots. Alex also wasn't using much space around him and was sticking to an area. This was a really good lesson.
Love your Vids 💗
One year later this man finally came back and revenged
The amount of top spin on the ball at 0:25 as it goes into the net just blows my mind.
Let's see how Alex manages Otto... I hope to see that match
Serves, receives and better killer forehand, that was the key to victory for this guy in this match. Also Miika's unforced forehand errors, too many...
Yes but try to make it better yourself, it‘s hard, especially when you get nervous during such an event
True! Can't make unforced errors against Alex
@@PongfinityPlus better luck next time!
Plenty of time to get ready for the rematch 👍
Mikka's game is a thing of beauty..but today Alex was a beast😈
I love Miikka's playstyle. I won matches against players I have never beaten before. I love you Miikka!
5:26 The Barrier-Knocking Guy 😂
😥 sad times, unlucky Miikka
nice match between a strong backhand lefty and a strong forhand right handed
pls upload more matches
That's what they call a proper drubbing.. Great stuff
An intense and fast game, I like it 🤩
That was a dismantling.
Be patient enough to play one more push if ball is not there to hit instead of half hearted first attacks
Practice make the human perfect 👍💯👏
Practice isn't enough, there are several other aspects you have to work on. In fact, I see guys that practice all the time, still they neglect other parts of their life, which makes their performance suffer
But bro if you want to be good in some thing there is only one medicine and that's practice and in this world no one practise for 24/7 you have to go out , party with frends spend time with family this stuff equally to practice
@@the_niceperso no, party you shouldn't do, in fact, if you want to perform, you need to rid yourself of all addictions including all drugs and alcohol. In fact a common problem is people practicing too much and neglecting rest, sleep and so on, they end up injuring themselves or burning out
@@leob4403 bro may be in your country partying mean alcohol and drugs but in my country partying means only doing gathering with my frends just talking enjoying and drinking and eating and plz don't mean drinking as (alcohol) there are many choice also like coca cola f, fruit juice and all etc..but your statement is right but if I say party and all that include rest and break to mind to . I hope you will understand 😉
@@the_niceperso sure I hear you, but coca-cola you should definitely avoid, sugar addiction will negatively impact performance
His opponent is very good
Will you show final match?
Can you upload more on this channel plz
Way different match now that Alex has no back problems.
Miikka just got killed… kinda sad
Can't always win :(
@@PongfinityPlus that's an important part of the journey
@@PongfinityPlus i couldn't help but notice the difference in the turn of the hip, Alex consistently turned more
4 years in a row that Miikka had to go against Alex
Alex and Benedek are first and second on the table tennis ranking from the Finish players. Otto and Miikka are third and fourth. Would be awesome to see them all in some Pongfinity videos))
Not gonna lie, had a feeling that mikka will loose but at the same time I was like come on mikka give me a comeback and beat him like the last time
That was a bad day...normally i see Mika plyng much better. Heads up!!!
did you record the final with king ben ?
Miikka was a little off with too many misses that are normally 80% in. Alex has a relentless attack and deserved the match. I will always root for Miikka though and his fluid game is so much fun to watch. In this match, there was a lack of consistency, maybe going for a little too much on some shots. Fun to watch
Have you guys ever qualified against each other in a tournament like this
Alex's revange arc
Please show us a game of Patrick, I really want to see how he plays

what happen with emil's match in last 8 match???
high level there
It’s not your day🤝
I don't get how you return the ball when it's spinning so fast, I suck at spinning and when I get little movement, the guys at my school send it flying into the air
1:57 "the edge guy"
5:35 what did he say?
Impressive! Very nice. Let's see Paul Allen's match.
Pongfinity,I saw women match in the background. Can you tell me who is number 1 in Finland? I guess that Benedek Olah is Men' s No 1,right?
Pongfinity video :)
Pongfinity compete :(
Damn boiz
Is Emil still in cuz he won first match
Unfortunate result.. Hope Otto rips everyone and takes the trophy !!!
Miika plays really well but very unstable backhand.
Mikka is missing too much easy forehand shots (half smash), he is waiting the ball little bit longer than needed, sad to see him loosing
Hyvä Miikka
Well.. That was unfortunate. But Miikka has already put all his effort into it.In the ancient Chinese,we had a saying "失敗乃成功之母",which means"Faliure is the mother of success".Keep it up,practice 40 hours a day and you'll succeed one day,I believe in you😉
It's not Mikki's day
play table tennis with golf ball please
Anyone else watch the ladies in the background go to 16-14 in the first set then past 11 AGAIN in the second??
No Mikka looses but its okey next Mikka will win
HEYY @Pongfinity Plus .... Can i again get a heart????
Great game, great effort from both players.
Just work on your flicks, if you ask me, that's how Alex got you. Your flicks are very weak compared to the rest of your game (especially your BH flicks) and mainly set the ball up for Alex. His flicks on the other hand pushed you a lot and he got a few surprise points on you with those as well.
Road Runner vs Road Runner
Why is Emil never playing these matches??
He was there, didn’t qualify.
0:55 was this a mistake?
Why doesn't Miikka use his fast serve?
Miika vs Shapovalov
hard luck
Blade + each rubber for you, Mikka? Just curious
It seems like your BH rubber is a little too soft and has too low of a throw angle for you, not to mention it's too slow. Your blade is probably inner-carbon, which is fine. But, your backhand blocks are way too slow and they land way too shallow.
I definitely heard you bottom out on the FH in this match too. I really think you need to abandon euro style rubbers on your FH and go with the DHS H3 Neo 40 degree National Blue Sponge. You will really enjoy it, I think. Then, go with something 50 degrees, euro style, and high throwing on the BH, such as the Dignics 05 or the new Donic Bluestorm Pro.
But, you definitely need to stop blocking when you're in the midrange. Only block when you're close to the table. Once you've backed off, it's okay to back off a tiny bit more in order to hit counters. It's okay if the ball is past its peak in its arc too. This will having you sending back a spinny counter deep, instead of a neutral/flat, shallow block. This is why I say use the National Blue Sponge H3 Neo on the FH. Then, you'll be able to counter with extreme spin. And you'll actually feel comfortable from the midrange, and you won't be throwing in blocks from back there.
(This is all coming from a real coach fyi)
I don't want to see you block so passively with your FH from so far back EVER AGAIN! You have 2 options: 1. Stay closer to the table and block, or 2. Swing counters from the midrange. Back up until you can hit counters.
Also, I see you snapping at the ball, trying to hit with everything you've got all in one snapping set of motions. Instead, you should prepare your feet earlier and try to start your motion as early as possible.
And just reviewing this tape a little more tells me that breaking your habit of blocking is going to be hard to do. So, you need to put a lot of training time into staying close like Waldner, even when they're driving the ball hard, and blocking the ball into good positions and stealing the attack from your opponent.
Also, STOP TRYING TO LOOP WHEN THE BALL IS ALREADY HIGHER THAN THE NET WHEN YOU'RE MAKING CONTACT! Tilt your racket angle extra extreme to the FH and just drive that ball. And instead of going for the inside-out FH, go for the sidespinning hook FH to the other corner just like Waldner.
Just remember though: When the ball is higher than the net when you're making contact, drive it deep on the table and immediately hop about 6 inches backward with both feet. When the ball is the same height, or lower than the net when making contact, go for wicked spins. And you don't need to clobber those heavy spinning loops either. You just need them to have heavy spin and be pretty deep on the table. And don't forget that going at someone's middle is even more effective than going wide. And heavy spin is always more effective than a lot of speed.
A lot of easy mistakes.... need to fixe it!
actually, i was looking on the girls first set then you
just kidding, you are best
Seems like Miika is not in his best condition
Myakka do good job batt he losses
te he visto muy acelerado, creo que necesitas un poco más de calma
Oof miikka got his ass handed to him :)
too many unforced error
Did you expect to win in short socks?
It' s only a game.
Dude a little more underspin to those serves won't do any harm
Mikka
So many unforced errors :-0
Omg
To players played very well actually =]]]
Lots of unforced errors, was not Mikka's day. Alex and Mikka are pretty much rivals now
wuuut? 4-0 is unbelivable oh mikka
Whole
Is Alex speaking Swedish??
miikka, alex seni öttürmüş maalesef. kusura bakma ama artık "don't fight to yourselves"
looks like better to spend time on training and not on tricks
Dude, you can't win everytime...
How dare Mikka lose to a guy ranked above him? He should quit TT forever!
@@youtubeonly520 fr😂
@@schreiterroman He made a lot of simple mistakes sure he can't win
