ImmortAll Living History

HEAR THIS is a powerful program that fuses performance poetry, a creative exploration of culture, social/civic life, and interpersonal experiences to help youth grow and develop. The program uses poetry for education, healing, and growth by relating youth’s stories through performance poetry or spoken word. Hear This is centered around Immortall an exploration of local history centered on Union Kempsville/Princess Anne County Training School (UK/PACTS) History Museum. UK/PACTS alumni interact with students to share their stories as will VB African American descendents of and or actual living legends.
