Got to watching this video again. My parents are curious about how I'm going to live on a tugboat when i finally get the chance to. I'm currently waiting for the NMC to evaluate my MMC application. My parents are worried about how i can do with living on a tugboat and can't seem to understand what I'm trying to tell them.😂 I used this video as an example to ease their minds. Got me wondering though.... Do tugboats have clothes washer and dryers onboard, where they usually located?

Do u all have any type of ongoing training to retain ur certification(if there is any) to remain working on the boat? I'm located upper Chesapeake bay area & have multiple fire boats for different types of calls, that's why I'm curious to your firefighting portion of the tugboat life. I'm subbing u know & plan on going thru ur vids.....THX & STAY SAFE MY AQUATIC FF BROTHERS!!!
So when you are on for your two week duty, do you live full time on the tug or go home each night, etc. AND are you the captain of the tug or are you operating under a captain?
