some ppl speculate that the cameras represent the media monitoring shinee and key smashing up the piano is him being frustrated at music or the music industry ^^ would probably be more comforting for you than him just destroying it for the aesthetic lol
Anyone notice they never smiled at all in the live stages? Like they wanted to look listless and spacy and the vibe just felt like a 5am drunk walk home where self-pity and loneliness drove them home and like they wanted to mask everything with fake happiness at the end? Like saying that it's a good evening (albeit a shitty subtlety of love that masks everything)? Mindblowing, and meaningful. Sigh. This maturity that only SHINee gives...
Jonghyun died of suffocation essentially, so I think the move to have them sit in a plastic bag meant to protect furniture was kind of bold and even showed the bag turning into paradise. Its subtle imagery.
Has anyone else noticed the deliberately don’t make eye contact with the camera during the live stages? To me, it adds a sense of listlessness or introspectiveness, especially because the song is in the second person (talking to a ‘you’) so wouldn’t it make sense to look at the camera? But no, they look into the distance... idk I think it’s a cool part of the performance
someone actually asked them this during a fansign and they confirmed that its intentional! it adds really nicely to the hazy / dreamlike nature of the song/performance.
Yes! Thank you for commenting, I've been looking for this in the comment. I also find the looking to the distance and avoiding the eye contact with the camera very interesting. And also find very intriguing how at the end they stand in line to the front and all look forward, thing that didn't happen throughout the whole performance, even when they sit on the chairs they are facing different directions or are bit angled. I love how the performance on its own tell a whole story. 😍❤
ImSody / i looked at the fanaccount again, it says the choreographer instructed them to do so to "give a feel of difference from others" and "the impression of shinee playing between themselves" so i feel like the point is to put a closed off world onto stage, like a film that tells a story and where the characters dont interact with you, the viewer. as op pointed it out, it creates an interesting contrast with how the lyrics point to a "you", i interpret this as the whole of the lyrics/scene being kind of a dream or fantasy abt talking to "you" rather than actually physically doing so. like an ode to someone that wont be able to read it. But i think we should realise this is the 1st episode to a 3 part story (they confirmed the mvs will be telling one story) so we will be able to speculate more once we see the whole picture! the teaser to the 2nd mv came out 2 days ago and i think it already adds really interestingly to the narrative (theyre in the forest, looking into a well in which the scenes of the 1st mv is playing, this for me reinforces this dreamlike nature of the greenhouse set and the choreo of good evening)
I've definitely consciously noticed "wanton piano destruction" since watching this channel, and definitely cringe in sympathy! However, for some reason I kind of empathized with the piano destruction in this mv. I don't want to assign/impose any assumed significance onto shinee, but for me it felt like a small token of the expression of loss, and (to me) some transitional anger for music in general. Again, I don't want to say that's what it means, but that's what it meant to me in this mv. In any case, thanks again for a great video!
h g Oh yes certainly! (And unfortunately-a recent example being BTS’ Fake Love MV) However, at least in kpop, pianos seem to be the most common victims.
Fans speculate that throughout the video the members (even the dancing) they're going through the stages of grief. I even can see that with key smashing the piano (anger is one of the stages)
Koharu Sugawara often is looked upon her contemporary dances with the effortless grace and a semblance of impressionism - something that the music, the vibe, and the dance all wholly encompass. It may be grief (let's not speculate, though), but I perceive it as listlessness and abandon, something that the lyrics tell (i'll come for you and take you away etc etc.) - which totally vibes with the whole sound and the confusion in every single verse and chorus.
h g Did she choreograph this piece? I wasn’t aware of who had done so but if she did, that’s really cool and she did a great job. (I’ve really enjoyed her other work, especially the dance camp videos.) I definitely agree with you about not speculating, which is why I just mentioned what it felt like to me personally, but you make a very good point with the correlation to the lyrics and listlessness as you said.
Baya ELF-Shawol also a ton of anger at the media (light shining in their faces, the angry attitude in the "media" room with the TVs and chairs). When they sit in the chairs looking exhausted it also reminds me of all the interviews they do, sitting in chairs.
I think it is pre chorus. My speculation the music video is SHINee story inside the "well" where their every move is watched and controlled, a suffocating existence. Onew as SHINee leader met the fox who I think show them that they can escape from the well when it rain. Then rain comes, the well is overflowing and SHINee able to get out of the well and into the forest. Personally think the fox have double meanings, one, it is inspired by The Little Prince book. In the story the fox teach the prince the value of relationship how someone become unique and precious because of your relationship with them. And even when you have to part ways the memories of that person will stays. Two, the fox represent Jonghyun himself. Jonghyun's wishes for them to not suffer like he is (based on his lyrics and his last letter, etc). And Taemin said that before the tragedy their music is intended to please their fans and public but now he (SHINee) wanted to make music for themselves. I think they learn that from Jonghyun, the importance of doing something for your own sake. I think episode 2 will be in the forest. Oh also the symbolism of rain and drowning is about the tragedy and other hard times. SHINee are hoping to find silver linings in this tragedy (symbolised by the forest). And the stage with aqua color is symbolism for shawols, I think to convey that altho they have hard times they love performing in the stages and making good memories with shawols. What I'm still curious is the oranges (the color and the fruits). I think it symbolize something significant but I don't know what. Maybe it symbolize Jonghyun too or Jonghyun's music (like the shadow, the empty chair, the fox). If it's allowed I would like to request Classiccal Musicians react to SHINee songs from newer albums specifically The Story of Light (Episode 1, 2, 3) album. Thank you.
hey! i loved your commentary but i just wanted to say that the lyrics actually weren't really just typical love song lyrics. they were co-written by minho and key, and the chorus starts with "the moonlight is rising, i'm going to you before it's too late" and during jonghyuns funeral, there was a blue moon in japan which shawols take as jonghyun going out with style and changing the moon to shawol colors with him because it wasn't supposed to go blue yet. the whole bridge "i can feel we're looking at each other trough this door -, even if you're farther away than the sky i'll send my heart to the clouds, on this night with the bright moonlight" sounds like talking to the otherside, which this entire song essentially is about. apparently the translation of "going to you" isn't perfect cause there isn't really english words that convey the whole message, but every shawol who knows korean has been saying that it's about meeting jonghyun again, but not being able to yet. also the english name may sound odd, but paired with you & i aka annoyeong, it makes sense. also jonghyun was a fan of the night and darkness and had sleeping problems. There's a lot more stuff in the lyrics but this is already a mile long message and obviously these are just based on the translated lyrics and if there's something wrong with the translations i might be wrong, but i just thought you would like to know. my personal favorite lyric is "i want to know all of your moments before that moonlight" cause i feel like it conveys the regret you feel in that situation perfectly. anyway, love your work and thank you for keeping this great channel going!
Fanny Gustafsson "I can feel we're looking at each other through this door. Let's see your eyes nose lips cheek." I too agree that the door in this rap lyrics (written by Key and Minho) is about the door between life and death. For three days before the funeral, the four members stayed with Jonghyun's body (custom in Korea, the role usually reserved for family but in Jonghyun' case Minho, Onew, Key and Taemin were given role as the head of ceremony) and in Key's written letter to Jonghyun.. Key did wrote about staying beside Jonghyun (after he passed away) and staring at his face.. helped him accept the reality that Jonghyun has passed away.
This video is very much related to Jonghyun, as the little fox represents him ( he said it's his favorite somewhere). They were monitored as public figures. They looked very lost in the beginning and were looking for the traces of the little fox. They couldn't accept what happened and this music video showed their anger and struggles. As others pointed out, the plastic bag may also related to Jonghyun and suffocation. In the end they finally pull themselves together. Key looked back then started running forward in the forest. They understood that little fox was not vanished. It's freed from everything and now is somewhere in the forest with them. And they look into the water well as if something/someone is there looking at them too. Then the MV for "I want you". They saw the little fox in the forest and it's somehow guiding them to move forward. This whole album is so coherent and it is the story of light indeed.
Hi Umu! 1. It wasn't a real piano, I promise~ 2. This song is about JONG, the fox is from The Little Prince, his fave story. The man, I'm not sure. But the lyrics are like a general story of going to someone that they love. But they can't go. Not yet. This "story" is revisited in You & I (Annyeong), which was written by Key!
i always love your reactions, i genuinely find it unique how you tackle a songs not only just as a general typical reaction but also discuss its musical composition. (And) as someone who knows NOTHING about music (well music theory) when you point different elements out, it helps me notice them too
Tbh as I read the lyrics, it mostly reminded me of Jonghyun? Like they were talking to him in a way, considering that Key and Minho took part in writing the lyrics too.
The man that is behind onew as a hologram is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is the writter of the little prince, history in which the concept is suposed to be based in.
Are we positive though? Because it doesn't look like him and the man is conducting. You can see by the way he is moving his arms up and down. And Antoine wasn't a conductor.
people on twitter are fairly sure its lorin maazel, the figures face looks a lot like him. + someone added that when you search conductor in korean google literally puts maazels pic first
Koharu did such a beautiful job choreographing shinee's comeback! I'm so glad she got to work with the entire group. If you watch the practice taemin's sayonara hitori she does something similar. Balancing between moments of suspension, a build up and all out wild choreo. I love her style!💕
Love your reaction and reviews. Watching the choreography for the first time my first thought was oh this feels kind of sad or at least a bit melancholy. I’m really looking forward to the rest of their EPs (Waits patiently for SHINee/Taemin to get dates on the Classical Musicians React Schedule).
a lot of people are thinking that the man behind onew is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, but a few agree with you on it being a conductor. some are saying that the conductor might be Lorin maazel
Same with that choreography tho, Koharu is so talented and I love the emotions that they are able to convey through their dancing, especially as a group.
Concerning the choreography, Koharu Sugawara said in an interview that she wanted the members to perform for themselves hence why they don't look at the camera. She also said that the chairs was for them to rest. Many thoughts went into this dance, I'm glad that even a musician can appreciate it! Shinee fighting 💙💙💙
i feel the dance and song progression represents their progress through grief of Jonghyun. At the beginning slow and conservative, representing their sadness of the sudden loss , in the first chorus they are all sat alone(chairs separate from each other) finding difficulty in dealing with this alone. Then they are sat together, helping each other through this time great sadness and then as the song and dancing picks up they realise Jonghyun would want them to continue together and they want to make something that would make him proud of them.
Does already having heard the album mean an album review is on the horizon 👀👀 I can totally see why Undercover would be your fave! Mine is Jump, I'm just a sucker for that kind of driving percussion and then the funky stuff comes in 😍😍
Idk as a producer I would totally view that as the pre-chorus. Mainly because of the way all the percussion drops out to just claps on 2 and 4 and also due to the fact that it builds with the riser and snare for three measures and then cuts out for the last measure. I see that as it’s building anticipation for the chorus.
great video review! thank you for liking shinee's music and spreading your knowledge ~ ♥ may the next two title songs be as good as this one if not better
Thank you for this oh my gosh I've been waiting for this video and it was really worth the wait! I really loved this comeback it felt really strong and jusf I love the sound of the whole album just wow
I really loved how you really brke down the song and choreo and explained your thoughts on it. It made me appreciate the song more and notice details that I felt like I didn't give enough attention, especially the sound with wob wob shudhsd. Now I can't help but notice it everytime I listen to Good Evening hehehe.
Woow thanks to react for shinee good evening song... I learn so many things from this video about music, you also have to listen for shinee new song I want you, electric, who wait for love... Oh I really love their song in their 2nd epsd album, it's so refreshing!! I can't wait for your react XD
thank you so much for giving such a detailed review / reaction for Good Evening!!! I enjoyed watching it!!! I hope we see the others react to it too!! or even just some of the b-sides OR have them react to all three title songs once they're all out! Love watching your videos as always.
I can see you so excited! that really made you look cute ㅋㅋㅋ and yes, it definitely was an amazing comeback. there were those fans who went to 10th-anniversary fan meeting where shinee showed this performance for the first time. they said like "gosh, guys, it gave me the same kind of shock as when I first heard View and first saw Sherlock. I really want to describe how does it sound or look like but it's just soooo new and that I can't find anything to compare." I was panicked. "sherlock is known as the start point of the new era in K-pop dance. if they went beyond sherlock, that difficult and intense dance, then what should I expect?" and boom... they just broke the cliche again. this is the reason I can't stop being proud of them and support them...
I enjoy your reactions so much. I'm someone who only knows basic music theory. The way you break down the composition of the music really does help a lot. It helps me appreciate the music even more.
Thankyou for reacting "good evening". I really like how you explain the music theory, even thought i still did'nt understand about music theory. Oh and the conductor at onew behind what i know that he is the author of the little prince. For this theme comeback, shinee take the story of the little prince. It's that i read on my fandom journal hehehe. Thankyou so much, i'll waiting you guys to react the undercover and all and night, sorry for using bad english.
stumbled onto your channel and have been binging a bunch of your videos - i really appreciate your breakdowns/anaylises not from a musician standpoint (because I'm not...) but actually from a dancer's standpoint. It's been really eyeopening and inspiring as a choreographer to hear what you've pointed out and incorporating into how I listen to music/choreograph. keep up the amazing work!
I always wait for your reactions to appear in my notifications, 'cause they're always so analytical and precise. It indeed gives me a whole new perspective of the song, and i can enjoy it better, thank you! Just wait, as the second song will come up on the 11th!
On song structure I hear an intro, verse 1, verse 2, pre-chorus, chorus, verse 3, verse 2, bridge 1, bridge 2, pre chorus 2, chorus, outro chorus. I'm not a music expert, but I mainly see that main chorus part at the drop as the chorus because while it does have vocals, it still heavily lets the music speak for itself. It's a trend I'm noticing recently with choruses that are more instrumental and the backing music speaks more than the vocals do, it's not as prominent here but it does feel like that. And after the bridge, it feels like it suspends longer instead of actually hitting, like it gives this kind of floating feel which makes me feel it's the pre-chours they throw into it instead of straight to chorus. That's how I would write it out if it was my song, I may bring this up to my lyric writing professor later and see what they think because it is rather interesting and complex.
Yay!!!! Thanks for the reaction! I got sad cause I saw Good Evening and Girl Front in your will not react to list so I got sad but I'm glad you're at least personally reacting to them. I just wish the others could😭
I'm honestly really confused about the overall structure too, but here's what I think the structure is... Intro Verse 1 Verse 1 continued Pre Chorus Chorus Verse 2 Verse 2 continued Bridge Rap Pre Chorus Chorus Chorus+outro etc. The part that you titled Chorus pt 1 just feels like a pre chorus since the melodic line's tempo is slower, the percussion hits only on every beat, and then they speed everything up and it escalates to the climax where (sometimes?) they belted "데리러가", which for me is the climax. And what makes the part that follows a chorus(for me at least) is that they borrow the melody from the intro. Like the "wo-o-ox3 oh~ oh~ oh~". I could be wrong but I feel like I've seen other songs that do that, taking a melodic line from the chorus and using it in the intro, so that's what kinda leads me to think that what you think is Chorus pt 2 is what I think is the whole chorus. Chorus pt 1 is what i think is the pre chorus. .....hehe😅I'm sorry that was probably so confusing to read thru.
I saw that build up to the drop as a part of the chorus because of the way it repeats/its position in the song, and also because in the lyrics, it has the title of the song (although that's not a prerequisite for a chorus of course).
Umu I love this video and I love the things you said...I needed to listen Good Evening too many times to understand the form and other stuff but you light me with this review ...also we share the fav song of this album :3
Many fans have deciphered this comeback to be in reference to the book little prince since shinee has featured the fox in the teasers and mv, The man is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of little prince
I can relate to your reaction when I saw them hitting the piano or sitting on it! Like what does SM and the MV directors that make them want to sit on instruments and throw em, hit em or burn them, etc? It adds dramatic effect--but more of a horrific one. 😂
you might want to know that the same person who worked on taemins move made the choreography for this! its koharu sugawara & shes amazing, once i realised its her i really cant unsee her in these stumbling and hazy moves and bops (compare with duo performance version of move mv where she actually appears). beside what you said about the choreo i really love how the female dancers in this arent sexualised/feminized(?), they have the same role as the male dancers and dressed the same way too. (move duo ver is also really amazing bc well its a sexy choreography but not in the "we want to fuck each other" kinda way its a truly genderless choreo n its great)
forgot to mention she also worked on taemins flame of love choreo and theyve been v close since, even appeared on a dancing show together with flame of love. taemin said he suggested having her make the choreo for good evening because he wanted to introduce her to/make her friends with shinee which is adorable n also a really good decision
Hello! Fun Fact: This song sampled the melody(?) of 112's "Cupid!". I love both songs! My Mother actually pointed it out the second she heard the song, so I thought I'd share, even if it's a little late! Thanks for your reation Umu
There are definitely other comments that go more in-depth with the lyrics, choreography and music video itself. They all connect to each other to bring about the message of the music industry, jonghyun, jonghyun’s passing, and the afterlife. I think it’s really important to not just look at the composition of the song but also to look at the imagery and the point of why the song and each part of it is constructed so specifically to convey a message. Nothing should ever be taken at face value. When it comes to SHINee, it’s a known fact that each individual of OT5 was/is incredibly talented and artistic. Each single one of their songs that they part in, means something. Enjoyed your video though, I appreciate the in-depth details of the composition. :)
Hi! I highly recommend you listening to An Encore and Selene 6.23 by SHINee. They are two of my favorite shinee ballads. 1. An Encore the song has emotional melody and rich sounds of the scales, and lyrics intersecting between narrative and metaphoric 2. Selene 6.23 is an orchestral song performed by SHINee in their first collaboration with *Yiruma*. Lyrics by Kim Jonghyun
I read somewhere the fox is a reference to the little prince (Jonghyun's fave book). Anyway the song is a bop, and the visuals are really stunning, they really didn't disappoint me. Also jump was my fave from the album, its so lit.
umu: "oh he's sitting on the piano" *distressed face*
me: oh honey you got a big storm comin...
When she said that I literally got in a better position in my chair cause I knew what was coming
me : wait for itttt she gonna flip any sec now
some ppl speculate that the cameras represent the media monitoring shinee and key smashing up the piano is him being frustrated at music or the music industry ^^ would probably be more comforting for you than him just destroying it for the aesthetic lol
This actually makes sense

Mindblowing, and meaningful. Sigh. This maturity that only SHINee gives...
h g yes! They also don't make too much eye contact with the camera, if they do it's almost accidental
ImSody same! A friend told asked me that and I said what you wrote because we all know that Key always find the camera first.
Jonghyun died of suffocation essentially, so I think the move to have them sit in a plastic bag meant to protect furniture was kind of bold and even showed the bag turning into paradise. Its subtle imagery.
김은달 my mind is actually blown I have so much love and respect for shinee aah

D Viola awesome, thank you for commenting. I'd love to know why they do it tho

Key being angry and destroying the piano can be interpreted into a certain anger toward the music industry, it wasn't random in this mv
Baya ELF-Shawol also a ton of anger at the media (light shining in their faces, the angry attitude in the "media" room with the TVs and chairs).
When they sit in the chairs looking exhausted it also reminds me of all the interviews they do, sitting in chairs.
jjong was sad about the music industry maybe just maybe key did that to portray how frustrated they are towards the music industry
How Umu freaks out over the piano made me laugh ngl😂
Umu's face when Key smashing that piano
Don't worry Umu, like Kevin said:" One less out of tune piano in the world" 😂😂😂 And this song is such a bop. King Shinee.😘😘😘
Quynh Phan which video is that from 😂
I think it is pre chorus.
My speculation the music video is SHINee story inside the "well" where their every move is watched and controlled, a suffocating existence. No matter how many times i watch the chair dance part I’ll always tear up. It’s too emotional
*I always hypnotized by Taemin voice*
yes umu relatable
Hi Umu!
@Ocie Grimsley...oh My,...sounds truth, must be closer to it, cause I'm emo about now... 😶🙄😔😖🤧💙💎💙💚💎💖🙏🙏
Yeah, I thought the same about the lyrics, it's so clear that it's not a typical love song
i always love your reactions, i genuinely find it unique how you tackle a songs not only just as a general typical reaction but also discuss its musical composition.
It’s projection not a hologram.
Someone on twitter actually found out it was a conductor Lorin Maazel
😂
people on twitter are fairly sure its lorin maazel, the figures face looks a lot like him.
Same with that choreography tho, Koharu is so talented and I love the emotions that they are able to convey through their dancing, especially as a group.
sksjkjs your reaction when key smashed the piano was actually so relatable
i felt that
I really like your breakdown of the music and dance interpretation, attention, and appreciation for the tiniest detail about this whole music video.
I think this is the most complicated and details review you have ever done. Thank you umu for this review
I love the choreography so much honestly
About the long list of producers/composers - The chorus was sampled from 112's Cupid and all 6 of that song's writers were given credit.
Thank you for reacting and always supporting shinee!❤
Does already having heard the album mean an album review is on the horizon 👀👀 I can totally see why Undercover would be your fave! Mine is Jump, I'm just a sucker for that kind of driving percussion and then the funky stuff comes in 😍😍
Idk as a producer I would totally view that as the pre-chorus. Mainly because of the way all the percussion drops out to just claps on 2 and 4 and also due to the fact that it builds with the riser and snare for three measures and then cuts out for the last measure. I see that as it’s building anticipation for the chorus.
My analysis would be Intro, Verse 1, V1 pt. 2, Pre-Chorus, Chorus, Verse 2, V2 pt. 2, Bridge, Bridge pt. 2, Pre-Chorus, Chorus.
I love how you divide your video into two parts (react + review). Keep it up!
great video review! thank you for liking shinee's music and spreading your knowledge ~ ♥ may the next two title songs be as good as this one if not better
Thank you for making me able to appreciate music waaay more! And SHINee is 💞!
If clamus will react to this Umu please don't forget to put warning about the piano 😂😂😂
omg thank you i was really confused as to the structure of the song (but also super enthralled by it) and thankfully you covered that heheeh
Me waits for freak out once key hits piano 😂
loving the hair ;)
Umu: Oooh, he's sitting on the piano
Me: Girl, you better see what happens next...
Thank you umu for the nice review. Yes sm wants fantastic comeback for shinee for sure.. Kkkk
Umu, im very thankful to you for making reaction vids like this one 😭 It makes me appreciate these artists (and SHINee) even more 😭😭 THANK YOUUU
Glad you enjoyed this song. I’ve listened to it wayyy too many times. Never gets old. Friggin’ feel good/melancholy bop. And the video is beautiful.
Thank you for this oh my gosh I've been waiting for this video and it was really worth the wait! I really loved this comeback it felt really strong and jusf I love the sound of the whole album just wow
Amazing Shinee
I love the new format for review section since I am able to actually follow along
I really loved how you really brke down the song and choreo and explained your thoughts on it. It made me appreciate the song more and notice details that I felt like I didn't give enough attention, especially the sound with wob wob shudhsd. Now I can't help but notice it everytime I listen to Good Evening hehehe.
Your analysis was really thorough! I enjoyed it so much. Thanks Umu. You da amazing~
Love how you dissect everything! Great video!
The lyrics didn’t seem typical or plain to me they hold so many meanings and they are definitely not a typical love song for sure
I always wait for your reactions to appear in my notifications, 'cause they're always so analytical and precise. It indeed gives me a whole new perspective of the song, and i can enjoy it better, thank you! Just wait, as the second song will come up on the 11th!
Yeah SM loves to play with the piano. They burn it, wreck it, and on top of that they like to always sit or stand on it.
THANK YOU I thought you wouldn't do this 😍💖💖💎🌟
Thankyou for your reaction❤️😊
Yay!!!! Thanks for the reaction! I got sad cause I saw Good Evening and Girl Front in your will not react to list so I got sad but I'm glad you're at least personally reacting to them. I just wish the others could😭
Umu: cringe face
Me: Warning ⚠️ An instrument was harmed in the making of this M/V. Viewers discretion is advised.
LMAO Umu's face at Key smashing the piano girl same.
loved the choreography of this song
I'm honestly really confused about the overall structure too, but here's what I think the structure is...
Intro
Verse 1
Verse 1 continued
Pre Chorus
Chorus
Verse 2
Verse 2 continued
Bridge
Rap
Pre Chorus
Chorus
Chorus+outro etc.
Can't wait to see other reactor, especially Kevin...
I wonder what will be the reaction of other classical musicians when they watch this music video
Especially the piano part 😂
I saw that build up to the drop as a part of the chorus because of the way it repeats/its position in the song, and also because in the lyrics, it has the title of the song (although that's not a prerequisite for a chorus of course).
I love this kind of reaction with substitute and analysis
New mv is coming up! I Want You - SHINee
Ps: might as well watch with 3D effect hehe
Please make the others reaction to good evening too it would be so great, by the way your analysis was so cool
The sampled song in good evening is Cupid's 112 btw :)
carnalcruise It’s “Cupid” by 112, actually, who are the songwriters for “Good Evening” as well. :)
the whole album and this whole era is art
THEY DESERVE A FULL EPISODE :(
We love experimentalnee
Umu I love this video and I love the things you said...I needed to listen Good Evening too many times to understand the form and other stuff but you light me with this review ...also we share the fav song of this album :3
The reaction that we deserve
Been waiting for this!!!!!
gaaaah I've been waiting for this !! thankyou umu!!!
Many fans have deciphered this comeback to be in reference to the book little prince since shinee has featured the fox in the teasers and mv, The man is Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the author of little prince
The conductor is lorin maazel (according to someone on twitter)
How ironic it is too see *Kibum* being the Key who is also gonna *destroy keys*
More SHINee please....
Thank you 💞
Can't wait for ep.2 MV next 11 June.. wohoo
The instant I saw the piano while watching the mv, i was like can't wait to see umu watch that piano destroying
1. An Encore the song has emotional melody and rich sounds of the scales, and lyrics intersecting between narrative and metaphoric
2. Selene 6.23 is an orchestral song performed by SHINee in their first collaboration with *Yiruma*. Lyrics by Kim Jonghyun
I love your sound effects!! 😂😂
*this video is not paused* should be added when key destroying the piano lol
your reaction is so priceless . Anyway, thank you for doing this !
I WAS WAITING SO MUCH FOR THIS 💜💜💜💜
you really should look at some theories about the video
It's all very symbolic and interesting
I read somewhere the fox is a reference to the little prince (Jonghyun's fave book). Anyway the song is a bop, and the visuals are really stunning, they really didn't disappoint me. Also jump was my fave from the album, its so lit.
Finally! I felt like no one was talking about that man behind Onew. I'm really curious to find out who he is...
Lisben Philogene Its a conductor called Lorin Maazel 👀
Amooooo SHINee 😍😍
Umu's soul left for a sec 😂
