- Wearing a sequinned look is the easiest way to put the sparkle into any occasion: it's fun, dazzling, and everything but low-key. It’s no secret that I like a lively look, resulting in my rather large collection of shimmery sequin pieces that work for a party - but perhaps aren’t obvious choices for daytime dressing. My tried-and-tested trick to casualising sequins is finding a balance between low-key and flamboyant… It’s about a flash of shimmer to embellish a casual look, rather than sequins being loud and proud and the star of the show. In my opinion, a little sparkle is all you need to brighten even the dullest of days…

Trinny you really should market an undergarment nude vest (waist length or bit longer) low neckline, with shoulder pads built in. You'd make a killing, other colours too. Love your vlogs.

No matter if you like the ensembles Trinny pulls ( and I do love Trinny's style she always ends up looking fab by yhe way!)..unfortunately I know as they are, most outfits wont suit me...they re no need trying to copy (I'm a size 16 apple with muffin top .and all 😅 ) yetI always get inspired by Trinny by tweaking and adjusting to my figure... cant wait to play with my sequins now!!!! Trinny please do an update on summer/spring warm weather wardrobe please 😊 xxxx
Fabulous looks. With jumpsuits, I always worry about the toilet situation. That would put me off getting one.
Maybe especially when it’s layered with other things. I would pee myself before I could get out of that 🤣

Wearing layers on top of jumpsuits isn't an issue so long as they aren't attached (belted etc) because they can just be pulled up as you unfasten the jumpsuit from underneath.

😉Sequins & sparkle💎 has always been a tricky proposition even as special occasion dressing. For me, both can easily set off a tacky, Vegas vibe 🎰 or frumpy try‐too-hard matronly feel🤶. Except the ultra 💗feminine side of me has always been drawn to pretty studs & some shine in my sneakers😊.
⚖️Trinny's balance & blend is spectacularly subtle here. 🤍Loved all her looks 📸. The mixed gray tones have started to speak volumes to me. That color is becoming more & more appealing at this stage of life. It gives a sense of cosy, comforting continuity & elegance that's still quite⚡️powerful.
🤔Far less likely to splash out in it's full ✨️glittering glory✨️, but I certainly could see myself adding a discreet dazzling touch of glamour to my casual or even classic chic gear. Congrats on yet another well done wardrobe exploration...👏🏻!

Oh my giddy aunt! You are a total inspiration! The only thing is I live in South Africa and from what I gained from this is that layering is the answer to wearing “ your Saturday night best sequins” in order to casual it down! Even in our winters you would expire from heat! Love your work Trinny! Think about us in warm climates and let us know! 🤪🥰
I find that sequin scarves or accessories are better for hot weather. Then you can wear them with more casual items without issues.
I have lots of sequin outfits from Stine Goya and they lend very well to everyday wear. Great segment

I have a black/ silver sequin pencil skirt calf length. I wear it with a denim shirt and golden goose sneakers all the time!

Luv, luv, luv every single outfit. I luv the edgy look, but at being 5" , 9.5 stone with short legs it is impossible to find that look. I would luv grinned to stay me, I am 63 years of age.

Loving the clumpy boots with the dainty skirt but my feet are so big that if I wore boots like that, everyone would think of borrowed my husband boots. So what would I wear instead?
Try a more refined lug sole - the Blondo Mady boot is great for that, plus it's waterproof to boot! Lol
My issue with sequins is that they ruin everything they're touching! I have pants, jumpers, tops badly pilling or having friction marks because of it 😢
Dance moms sew scraps of tulle over the friction points on sequined clothes. It prevents snags but still looks sparkly.

😉Very carefully. You have to wear it on a day you'll AVOID ¹porta-potties as well as those ²dodgy dual sex 🚻 type toilet rooms that frequently have problems w/feeling the exterior door is actually fully secured. Worse bcos these single toilet compartments lack any privacy screen between you & the door. And, it's AlWAYS too far away for you to block entry w/your arm or foot too😳.
🤔You have to strategize in advance about the day you're going to wear a one piece. Need to know you're visiting familiar up-market places w/a hook on the stall door for your coat. Or, a gal pal who can play valet. That way you can leave the jumper around your neck, but you need to corral the jumpsuit craftily on one arm so it won't drag on any surfaces.
All the while holding your wee while you disrobe. Drawstrings are notoriously quick to knot when I least want them to do so. Trickier yet, if I need to figure out a place for a loose belt😬.
🤫This last step takes a lot of clever contortions. Slouchy, drapey pants alone are tricky enough to manage in a stall〰️ esp. if you're required to hover over the loo🚽.
😊Difficult, but not wholly impossible. Just keep the jumpsuit around fully familiar territory.

Love how Trinny makes sequins casual, and she does it with a lot of special pieces.
My only problem is that every time I see chunky boots,they remind of Orthopedic shoes😢😢😢. I don't know if it's because I trained as a nurse, but that trend has never been my thing. I DO NOT like them.

I love the outfits but she always layers a skirt over tights and boots and a camisole with a pullover and then tops it with a coat and maybe a scarf….I live in a warm climate! I would faint!!!!
Use lighter layers or sequinned accessories instead. Trinny can't help it if she lives in the UK, where it's cold & rainy 90% of the year lol!
